They play again in SEC Championship game if Georgia beats Tennessee. LSU at 7-1 gets in over 7-1 Georgia due to SEC schedule strength . Would LSU be prepared for that ATM QB then?

He's not a good QB so I'd think so. He only threw the ball twice

Head-to-head competition among the tied teams

Record versus all common Conference opponents among the tied teams

Record against highest (best) placed common Conference opponent in the Conference standings, and proceeding through the Conference standings among the tied teams

Cumulative Conference winning percentage of all Conference opponents among the tied teams

Capped relative total scoring margin versus all Conference opponents among the tied teams

Random draw of the tied teams

LSU at 7-1 gets in over Georgia at 7-1 because of record vs. common opponents, not schedule strength. Our loss is to aTm, who Georgia doesn’t play. Georgia’s loss is to Alabama, who we would have to beat to go 7-1.

The same applies to Tennessee - their loss is to Arkansas, who we already beat. So Tennessee beating UGA doesn’t really matter if LSU and aTm both win out.

Gets in what? We get in SECCG based on common opponents tiebreaker (Bama). Playoffs… who the hell knows.

Doesn’t matter who wins the Tennessee-Uga game, if LSU and a&m win out. Tigers would have tiebreaker because they would have wins over Arkansas (tenn) and bama (Uga)

This is such a dumb scenario bc yall need to realize that A&M is not that good. No chance they beat Texas & they might lose to SC this weekend

If LSU is 7-1 and Ags are 7-1 or 8-0, LSU will play A&M in the SECCG. It does not matter if Tennessee or UGA are also 7-1.

Aggie chokes vs TX.

All the following have 1 conference loss:

UGA
TX
TX A&M
LSU

Sort out that mess to see who goes to SEC CG...

I hope LSU plays A&M again.

We are the better team, it’s obvious.

Tiebreakers are going to get so messy with 16 teams and no divisions

I don't think TAMU wins out. I think if the backup QB was so good he wouldn't' be the back up. Other teams will not be having that nonsense we saw..

So hypothetically we could play A&M 3 different times this year?

New CFB is crazy lmao

I want so, so bad to go along with this with you and pull for the Aggies to get humiliated by Texas, but at this point I have to keep my mouth closed and hope aTm wins out because it's best for LSU's chances.

Yeah, we also have to win out, but I'd love to see a rematch of LSU vs aTm in Atlanta. We'll have revenge on our minds, and the Aggies won't have a surprise to throw at us this time. Plus, that crowd at Kyle was absolutely insane this past weekend, and helped their team. LSU fans usually travel VERY well to Atlanta for games, though.

So, I'll just deal with the nausea of having to hope the Aggies win out along with LSU. I'll take that rematch and my Tigers in a heartbeat if it happens!

Are these official tiebreakers? BTW, many thanks for posting.
