Should Jeff Landry get Trump involved to handle this situation?

Don’t see Sankey trying to bow up against DJT and since Landry and Trump are friends, what better time to ask for a favor? This seems incredibly unfair for LSU since they haven’t technically done anything wrong. I honestly think an executive order from Trump not allowing the expulsion to take place on Thursday is all that can really be done at this point.

I agree it sounded absurd typing it, but Sankey needs to quit throwing his weight around. He doesn’t want any part of Trump coming after him.

This is such a dumb take. You don’t think the other 15 schools don’t have people that have Trump’s ear? We’d lose the political fight. Stick to the facts, which have been consistently distorted. We did nothing wrong.

Trump is also friends with and is advised by Cody Campbell, who spearheaded the Protect College Sports Act, something Sankey supports.
The only reason to involve Trump is to have him do a full-court press on congress to get the bill passed, which the NCAA, SEC, and other conferences want.
