The defense handed the offense the ball on the 6 yard line in a tie game and less than two minutes left with a chance to put it away and they ended up taking a field goal from the 20 and leaving 50 seconds on the clock.

They deserve plenty of blame for putting up a putrid 10 points outside of that turnover despite dominating the stats. Too many points left on the field.

The offense put us in a position to win and the defense didn't secure it. I think your knowledge of football is very limited.

wtf did the offense do late in the 4th qtr to win the game? The defense got them first and goal at the 6 yd line and they managed to get a PF and kick a FG. The defense is why we got the lead. You don't know shite about football. And what did the offense do in ot when we needed a TD? Absolutely nothing

How often did these guys have to bail us out on 3rd down in 2013 due to a crappy system. Far to often.

that's right, a good system wouldn't result in any third downs.

the aggies wonderful "system" got beat by 59 points by bama. it isn't our system pal.

I think Sulli must be Cam's son or brother or something.

until i have reason to think that Miles doesn't mettle with the offense and pick his qb and won't allow an OC to pick their qb then i have no reason to place any blame on CC.

So Cam is just letting Miles ruin his reputation? Cam isn't just some young kid or weak personality that Miles controls. Can't see someone with Cam's age and experience just letting Miles control and ruin his offense. I don't beleive that Cam is just some puppet figure.

Our hand wasn't tied behind our back, we called the right pass plays when needed, the ball was placed well most of the time, the receivers dropped balls that hit them right in the hands. This drops all would have resulted in key first downs to sustain drives. Just one more set of downs would have made the difference. Had trey Quinn caught just one of those drops,we would be sitting talking about Arkansas today, or how bad it sucks we have to pull for Bama. If the ball must be thrown perfectly for you to catch it, you are not a receiver.

I have never seen one person on this board say they want a spread 'air raid' system. WTF are you talking about? Does Alabama run an 'air raid' aggies type system? I don't think so.

He was probably in shock a pass came his way. So you are saying the problem is we just have extremely untalented receivers. We don't have recievers on the roster who can catch the ball? Maybe if we had developed some rythym and efficiency to our passing game from the very beginning they would look a little smoother with it right now. This problem with our passing game didn't just start yesterday.

No, what I'm saying is there are others who played far worse than Jennings, and yes the defense dI'd give us the ball back with a chance to win. We came away with a field goal, we were ahead. We didn't make a stop, what I'm saying is its no more ones fault than the other. How many LSU- Alabama games have you guys watched. Its a very conservative game plan on both sides, control the clock, limit turnovers, give yourself a chance to win the game In the final minutes. We did well in all phases of that strategy last night. So stop piling on the offense, this was a team loss, same as it would have been a team win.

do you not understand one very simple concept? That if our passing game is more proficient it greatly increases our chances of winning the game. NOt just last nights game, but every game. How fricking dense are you?

The sad truth is that other than Mett, we have not had an above average QB since 2007. What is the common demoninator in that run of missing out on talen tnad recruiting QBs who don't stay?

We don't have to throw the ball around like Oregon to be successful, we just need to execute better on the plays we are calling. We will improve at the QB position, but the receivers will still need to catch the ball when we do. Teams that have the ability to run the football at will complete passes when needed, are the ones that win championships. Our offense will improve, our defense will be lights out next year, but we ain't ever gonna run the fun and gun. So I guess you'll still be here next year complaining when we are winning all these, low scoring games, by a slim margin. The formula of conservative football is tried and true. Just because you think is antiquated, doesn't make it any less so. Our time is coming, no one thought it would be this year. We are exactly what we thought we would be. After the State and Auburn games, no one gave this team a chance to even stay on the field with Bama, now you're in here bitching, instead of praising the team for a hard fought performance. I bet you are the kind of guy that ended up with a 7, but still thinks he could have gotten a 9 or 10, But in all actuality you should have ended up with a 3 or a 4, but you will never be satisfiedbecause in your mind you think you could have done better, all the while never realizing just how lucky you are.

We should see a pretty big improvement on offense next season.
Seriously, take a look at the returning 2-deep at every skill position. Jennings/Harris at QB, Fournette/Williams at RB, Dural/Quinn/Dupre/Diarse at WR. That's an impressive group, and most will also be there for 2015 at the least.

You think the passing game won't improve? You don't think those guys are gonna hook up and work on timing etc over the offseason? Even if you doubt the coaches' abilities, the players themselves should be able to tighten a lot of things up.
Quinn will regain his hands. Dural will add some muscle and improve his routes. Dupre should make a huge leap forward, along the lines of what Fournette did in midseason; or for that matter, what Dural did between last year and this. Diarse remains a better 4th WR than many team's 2nd guy, and he's just a redshirt freshman. Fournette has shown some downfield route running and catching ability you don't see from big backs in the NFL. All this will be utilized in time, you just have to be patient.

This year, we are young, and it shows. Next year, we will be young but experienced.

yes your right. I am so happy that we have no passing game and will in all likely hood finish up the season mid pack of the SEC west. So glad to see our players play their hearts out and still not get the W even though they could have gotton the W and be in the chase for the SEC west title if the offense had any semblance at all of a real college level passing attack. And once again, why do you for some reason equate the ability to complete a simple forward pass with a 'fun and gun' or 'air raid ' offense? You make no sense at all to me.

Cam coaches the sideline go route and the jump ball exclusively.

We never get anyone in a rhythm, with exception to the occasional running back.

Our poor QBs never get to throw it unless it is obvious to the entire stadium.

It works with NFL talent, which we had last year, it doesn't work to out scheme an opponent.

Of course, if Quinn make the catches it is a little better. But even if he does, we have less than 100 yards thru the air and less than 300 yards of offense, while absolutely dominating the time of possession..Oh, and 10 points that were not gifted. 10 points.

Does not compute.

There isn't a school in the nation with a passer rated around 90-100 thinking, "shite, we're gonna be awesome on offense next year"
