Shea and Matthew Brune do a podcast together every Monday, and Shea's words "I expect Jayden to be back."

They kind of went down the rabbit hole of from what Shea has heard Jayden will not be participating in Senior night this weekend and the "rumblings" are that he's coming back next year.

He still needs to develop. He needs to come back.

I wonder what Jamie Howard is going to have to say about Jayden coming back, if in deed he does.

Think he’d have to be. His bad games were likely still too bad to get drafted really high.

Would expect Nuss to hit the portal and Walker to be fine with a firm hold on the backup position with 3 more years to go.

I don't think Howard would mind. Would be the obvious choice to start in '24. Would have 3 years if he wanted them all.

It was a long shot for Howard to be the starter next year anyways.
I would think they’ve always expected 2024 to be his year.

I fully expect him to comeback, he really isn't an NFL QB yet in my mind, needs another year with Kelly.

Nuss will transfer I think.

Walker Howard would be a fool to transfer, he would get all of the backup snaps next year and running QBs to tend to get nicked up. Would have a totally clear path to starting for 1-2 years after that unless Rickie Collins is just unreal.

Today CBK said they would be honoring 17 Seniors at Senior day this Saturday. If you look at the roster on LSUsports.net, there are 17 Seniors/Grad Students with JD being a Jr.

Considering Jayden will be a super senior I’m sure he’ll be fine with it

After how his LSU tenure went he’d probably prefer 3rd string this year, 2nd string next year, starter after that

I would rather have JD for one more year than have Nuss. Howard will be more than ready after next season. We have Collins coming in this next class and we just received a commitment for 2024

I'd agree with that. But the way people talk about Jamie in here, he's in Kelly's ear barking orders on how to handle Walker's snaps and eligibility.

Hopefully Jayden will benefit the way Hendon Hooker and Max Duggan have. I fully expect Howard to get plenty of mopup action.

Nuss will hit the portal. Lots of talent but his mental state is not what BK desires in a QB.

i think howard could beat out Daniels if Kelly whats a passing QB. I think Howard pushes Daniels for the starting spot next year. Not sure Daniels will ever be more than just a running QB that can pass occasionally.

JD WILL NEVER BE AN NFL QB.

That won't change with another year of misreads and run-first mentality. He doesn't have good touch and obviously only throws to wide open receivers.

Love his grit. He just doesn't have it.

Walker's out then. In this league, with the current NIL money getting thrown around and the ability to transfer, you establish yourself early or risk sitting and getting passed up by someone else down the road.

I am so disappointed that things don't seem to be working out for him at LSU. I, like many others had high hopes for him coming into this year. I am just so disappointed in what I have seen from him. Maybe he can get a fresh start somewhere else and flourish.

Some would have said the same about Burrow through most of his first year with us.

You never know how much a player will grow.

Howard will be fine, Nuss probably leave. I expect Howard to play some next year, if he's as good as they say. Nuss however, probably won't receive any time next year.
