I just enjoy the free audio. Reminds me of listening to LSU baseball in the 90’s. The only time they would play on tv was if they made it to Omaha.

I always find it fun how LSU fans dominate these games. The LSU crowd in Houston last year was great and outshined the UT fan base as well as other Texas schools.

No count it's about being price gouged when LSU is in a tournament.

Then don’t pay!!!! I grew up on Skip Bertman LSU baseball. There was no TV for virtually all the regular season games. We listened on the radio. You do know that you can still listen on the radio for free.

Again…. We get to watch 50 of the 56 regular season games now for free. And you guys whine and cry that you can’t see every sine one for free.

But…. You had to pay for it or didn’t get to see it. Oh no!!!

Apparently lots of people paid to see it and still didn’t get to see it. I believe that’s the OP’s frustration but maybe I misunderstood

Heaven forbid they have to pay for them.

I have no issues paying to watch LSU play baseball.

I do however have an issue paying to see a white screen that says my wait time is damn near 2 hours.

if I wanted to look at a screen like that I would just type one up in a word document and look at it for free.

Actual attendance has to be the worst it's been in years with the exception of 2020.

Every single game played in an SEC stadium is on the SEC network or SEC+. LSU only plays around 6 or 7 games a year that aren’t in an SEC stadium. This year they only play 5 games not in a SEC stadium.

It was a reply in response to a post about the fan experience. It hasn't been as good as usual so far this year, mostly due to bad weather luck. And then yesterday's debacle added to it. But if you can't figure out for yourself why actual attendance matters I'll list a few reasons for you:
#1. Money - concessions, parking, etc bring in revenue when fans actually attend beyond just ticket sales. Additionally more fans attending games means more fans supporting the program so you get more donations and it increases the value of true NIL endorsements for the donating party.
#2. Recruiting - I'm sure many players on the team chose LSU in part because of the gameday atmosphere and fan support
#3. Player experience - it sucks for the players when they don't get the full LSU experience. And playing in big environments is good for getting the player accustomed to big games.

I know this will probably be the last week of this shite, but it has just been a lot of shitty and mostly uncontrollable things contributing to a poor fan experience this year

Good exposure

Opportunity to play in a big league park

Play teams we would not normally play to get ready for SEC….

Being that there are 9 players from Texas on the team Jay thinks this is a great recruiting tool to use to his advantage. Also, gives the players a chance to play in front of friends and families.
Also, I am pretty sure playing in a MLB park and a nice minor league park with a huge LSU crowd checks your box for player experience.

Not too long ago there were NO games on TV. If you wanted to see you had to go to the game. Snowflakes are spoiled rotten.
