Some insightful responses itt and that’s definitely one of them.

I was so fricking sure this was the year after the Clemson win, I had to distract myself from currently hating all things football with a passion so I decided to delve into some history and get a handle on how/why the little kunt Irish prick fricked up a good thing so epically.

Kelly did a good job of putting a solid foundation in place. We desperately needed that. BK just couldn’t for some reason put a well-rounded team on the field

Kelly fired Tommy Moffit, and we know what T A&M did to us physically. He fired Blake Baker, and had had to hire him back to have a decent defense. He became arrogant and lazy once he came to LSU. He thought he had made it, and was smarter than everyone else. I would have never predicted it. I was sure he was a Saban-like coach. I was wrong. Nick was never satisfied, he was always thinking about getting better. Did you see photos of Saban hoisting the 2003 National Championship trophy? He couldn't smile, he was already thinking about next year.

So sick of hearing about Tommy Moffitt. Kentucky ran for 330 yards vs a team trained by the almighty Tommy Moffitt in 2021. He had a great career at LSU, but it was time for a change.

After some time off, Moffitt was reinvigorated.

Didn't that old fool mention 'alignment' multiple times in the early days of his tenure?

but what were we hiring him for that he failed

Simply…we hired him to get us to the 12 team playoffs. We spent an assload of money on players and still didn’t make the playoffs. He suffered an embarrassing loss to aTm in Tiger Stsdium and the fanbase/boosters wanted retribution.

He was really good at handling bottled water during postgame press conferences. He often took the cap on and off without looking down. Very impressive when you're simultaneously devising new ways to defend never-ending mediocrity.
