Talent discrepancies aside, there is no reason at all that a team with LSU's resources should score zero points, at home.
Arkansas scored 31. And don't give me this nonsense about how they did it against 3rd stringers. Arkansas's first score was in the first quarter.

Do, they did nothing but punt every series
Well this is just some bullshite dishonesty right here.
We had one series end in a fumble, and one end on a missed FG.

It’s not just an Alabama problem but an inability to throw screens or swing passes to the RBs.
They have improved from the past in slants. But you can’t keep going for play action when the other team knows you can’t run.
His hands were tied somewhat because the OL is simply not good but the gameplan didn’t help.
No excuses at all because the result was unacceptable but I don’t think there’s a lot of talent on the offense.
Will anyone get drafted this year?

If you were the OC, what - specific - actions would you take to beat Alabama?
First, this isn't about Bama! The offense has been terrible all year!
Second, the passing tree is too deep and not creative. Damn near every pass is a playaction deep down sidelines or quick outs for 2-3 yards..sound familiar? Will not attack over the middle and never take advantage of LBs cheating up...sound familiar? Florida didn't even disguise there blitz, the answer was to try and roll out away and throw into coverage. Better OCs attack where you are vacating with quick passes in that hole. Did you notice how bama would hit the TE if the OLB came? This has been a major issue all year. Teams are not respecting the passing game, for good reason and LBs cheat up and play run, yet no RPOs or quick slants/TE behind LBs.
This offense is nothing more than Mile's offense ran out of shotgun! it worked two years ago when SE took over. Why? He called more shotgun formations and teams had to play honest, which lead to better offensive success. Now teams have a ton of tape and know its the same offense.

Gameplan to exploit any weaknesses of Bama's D. Arkansas, Mizzou and A&M all score double digit 1st half points.

What specifically - should/could they have done better?
RPO, roll the pocket or QB designed roll out. We took away areas that were previously exploited.
Burrow is mobile. Mond ran for 98yds vs Bama. So we choose not to use Burrow's legs? He has 245yds rushing this year.

We actually had some WRs open downfield, but stuck to short passes other than a few shots which did draw one and almost a second catch/PI.
We have tall WRs. Use them. If the response was he didn't have time to throw deep, go back and watch film. Burrrow spent as much time trying to figure out who to throw to than he would have to throw deep routes. Bama packed it in and dared us to throw it deep. Our tendency is that we are too conservative to challenge deep and Bama knew it.

Can you tell me one thing they did that impressed you?

1. The slot was open all night, especially slants.
While Bama was not truly blitzing is all night (because they didn’t have too, their linebackers were playing up, and the middle of the field was open. Start throwing quick slants over the middle, then when Bama adjusts, running back wheel routes in the flat or rb toss sweeps, and TE and WR out routs all become more open because your linebackers are now being made more honest, which then makes it easier to run up the middle.
2. Fed Clyde.
He was pushing two or more Bama players every time. He was not going down on first contact (even though most of the time his first contact was in the backfield). Yet he had 6 attempts.
3. Quit running wide receiver screens
It’s a dumb play unless the corners are playing more than five yards back, and Bama’s weren’t.

Well, they did not score...at all. So there's that.

Serious question for you- Do any of us get paid multi-million dollars a year to figure this out? Do we also have oodles of support staff to help us?
The answer is no, but it seems that some may do just as good, if not better, than the dolts in charge. THAT is a problem, so your argument of "tell us how to do it better" holds no water.
If E and his staff cannot get the job done, then O needs to find someone who can. No more excuses, this shite is getting old.

Shut the frick up. Nobody on this board is a football coach with 30 years experience.
I can’t tell you exactly what went wrong, but I can look at the god damn scoreboard

4. Use Burrow’s legs
The entire first half Burrow was a statue. It’s like they told him not to even scramble.
Then in the 2nd half it was like they told him he was allowed to scramble but nothing was designed and he’s not quite athletic enough to turn nothing in to something.
What he is athletic enough for are draws and rollouts, which buy your receivers an extra second to get seperated which is crucial when your line is playing that bad and also make the defense keep guessing at least a bit.

- Failed to score a single point in Ensminger's two opportunities against Bama. Ensminger literally has the worst resume in college football, as an OC. The offense exhibited zero creativity and exposed the team's deficiencies, rather than hiding them.
- Play Action does not work, if you have had zero success in the rush game. The play action wastes time that the QB could be surveying the field. LSU needed to spread the field with 4 or 5 wides and throw the ball in under 3 seconds. Ensminger's scheme passes only on obvious passing downs, utilizes slow developing pass plays, utilizes zero creativity/ misdirection, and requires Burrow to make decisions that he obviously is not comfortable making.
- I would spread the field as wide as possible and utilize a snap/throw philosophy. No drop backs and get the ball out before anyone could get to the QB. Fast tempo would wear the defense down and setup more opportunities down field. I would utilize creativity and sprinkle in the option with Clyde at QB and Brosette at RB. I sure wouldn't just give up because we were less talented.
Ultimately Purdue beat Ohio State because of scheme, as they were not near as talented. Regardless of what I would call in the game, I guarantee that I could score at least "0" points.

I’ll give you one small example, since you apparently didn’t watch the game:
Every single shotgun play was posed as a RPO. Borrow consistently wasted time acting as if he would handoff. Bama NEVER respected even the chance of the run, thus, this only took away precious time Joe needed in the pocket to throw. After 2 quarters, it should have been very apparent to E that this simply was not worth doing. But he never made an adjustment.

1 game Matt Canada called against Alabama
151 total rushing yards (he had Guice, but Williams had a banner game)
155 passing yards
10 points.
Seems like Canada did enough in one game to beat Ensminger's combined. I would have loved to see what Canada could have done here with a couple of years time to establish his system.
