Would all the changes to LSU football over past 9 months have happened if Bryce Underwood had signed.
Jury still out regarding his talent , but I’d argue him flipping to Michigan was best thing for Tigers

Probably, because CBK still would have sucked, and Underwood probably would have transferred. Agree that it worked out well for LSU.

That was a Joe Sloan thing. I think we could have gotten Arch Manning as a transfer instead but thats another story. Sloan nixed the deal.

BK used the Underwood money to get more players so we would have been worse last year. Definitely was a good thing we did not get him.

He's also just not as good as advertised imo

Probably. Nuss was pretty solidly entrenched as the starting QB coming into the season. So we’d have been paying Underwood a huge amount of money to probably redshirt, which would have left us with less money for other players who would actually have playing time. So we may have been even worse last year in that situation.

Stopped right there. Hypotheticals and "what if" questions are stupid.

No.

Sayin was heading to Baton Rouge when Saban retired but Underwood had committed two weeks prior and that wasn't going to work. Don't blame any party involved at the time. Underwood just fricked us 10 months later.

It ultimately worked out, so I'm not upset, but that's what happened.

Put down the bottle. It’s early.

It isn't often someone boldly rolls in with such an obviously false account of what actually happened. Bravo.

LSU and Arch Manning should not even be in same conversation.

Underwood would have seen the field mid-season. Nuss was injured .

It was easily a good thing, even if BK wasn’t fired. It was the driving force behind LSU realizing it needed to raise way for money than it was for NIL.

We’d have still already had 3 losses by then and BK would have been fired.

It’s impossible to know if underwood is a bust or not because Michigan doesn’t seem to use a system to fit his skills.

It’s like having Jayden Daniels running I formation under center.

Michigan runs that les miles offense
