Can we get through one damn inning against a trash team without giving up runs? Damn this staff is awful right now.

He's 0 for 6. I understand sometimes it's on the pitcher but that is alarming.

We have a lot of pitchers that have velocity. I can only think this was the perceived “depth” that was talked about. But so far, other than walker Marceaux and hill, I’ve seen a lot of throwers and not enough pitchers. There is not enough command from the rest of the staff to call it deep.

Opponents are 6-6 now on steals this year fwiw. He's been great blocking, and hard to tell whether it's his arm or the pitchers' delivery to blame.

shite. I missed quite a few.

It might be something to worry about eventually but I’m not at that point yet.

He hasn’t had a play on all 6 attempts. He’s only had a throw down twice I believe. The first of which was a change up and perfect pitch to run on.

Army had several but they also led the nation last year in stolen bases, so I'm not going to read much into it at this point in the season. Last throw was right on the money.

Also there were at least 2 in the AF game where there was no throw.

One this game with no throw as well.

So he’s really 0-3 at worst

One thing that always drives me crazy is he always waits until there are 2 or 3 runners on base to make a pitching change when someone starts to struggle. I realize he uses and will continue to use these midweek games as practices, but he puts so many pitchers in horrible spots. With Henry's pitch count where it was, someone should have been ready to go after the double.
