Seems like the legal issues will never end for the program...

Will be interesting to see how LSU survives this clusterfrick of legal actions. Hope we have some programs safe from the death penalty. Damn.

There are a lot of money hungry people who want to steal from a system. LSU is powerful and everybody wants to cash a check. It’s what wrong with society.

Maybe we can turn it around, like Baylor

Always be wary of the “piled on’s.” Not to say they aren’t real. But it’s too easy once the faucet is opened.

I get what people are saying that we need to defend LSU, but at some point I think we should cut bait with all the administrators from the Les/Alleva/Alexander era and move on. Let them fend for themselves.

Totally agree. Somewhat puzzling the only people fired over all this don’t even work at LSU anymore. Not good.

This isn't a pile-on. It's a response to being made the public scapegoat.

Truth is a major university the size of LSU will be always be involved in a number of lawsuits and legal action at any given time. After all, it’s the size of a city. Athletics just attracts brighter scrutiny.

This is how these things work themselves out. Not with court cases and witnesses under oath, but with lawyers working out a settlement.

When a lawsuit is filed, it's just someone saying, "I'm ready to get paid."

For perspective, let me offer this:
Baylor won the NCAA basketball title Monday night and most of America is applauding them.
Baylor, where a basketball player murdered his teammate.
Baylor, where the head coach (before Drew) concocted a cover up story to hide illegal payments.
Baylor, where a few years later, the school covered up gang rapes committed by football players.

None of what LSU is accused of doing is even remotely as vile as what Baylor, this week's toast of America, has done in the past.

To suggest that the world is crashing down on the LSU campus is just overreacting.

There will be money paid to make accusers go away.
There will be some people fired.
LSU will be reprimanded for its Title IX deficiencies.

And by the UCLA game, this will all have gone away.

Sjw scotty has the place on fire right now and he has done nothing to stop the media attack on LSU. The advocate and wafb both have attacked LSU, and that should not be happening.

Does anyone else find this Guice situation and the particulars to be suspect?

Why the insistence on Guice sitting out the Citrus Bowl in particular?

Why does her representative push for 100K to make it go away?

Why do Scott and her " representative" have such differing accounts of what happened post offense.

Question: What was the extent of Guice's interaction with Ms. Scott. Was this a short experience with Guice just being am a-hole? Or did he hound her?

Something in all of this does not smell right. I mean Guice is POS, but this seems suspect... even if he did say he wanted to frick her.

100K to make it go away???? Sounds like extortion.
