Could it possibly be a blessing in disguise to be a 3 or 4 seed instead of a 2? LSUs lack of depth is leading me to suggest this.
We aren’t gonna be a #1 so that means you have to beat a #1 to go to the final four.
And as a #2 you won’t see a 1 until the Elite 8. Which is the second game of a two game weekend.
Does it help to be a 3 or 4 and play that same 1 team the first game of the weekend in the Sweet 16? Wouldn’t you rather play the best team at that regional final in the first game when you’ve been rested? As opposed to 48 hours after a game you know our starters will play 35 min+ in?

LSU is clearly one of the top 8 teams in the nation and deserves a #2 seed.

I think they will be a 2 in the end and be put in the Iowa bracket. NCAA would love a rematch

No way. They want Caitlin Clark in the Final Four and will give Iowa the easiest bracket possible to achieve this.

Worth repeating in every thread. Seed doesn't matter as long as you're at least a 4 seed. Home games and guaranteed to be in a separate region from top in-conference opponents.

I think 3 seed is optimal, that way you don’t face the 1 until elite 8

It really doesnt matter. You just dont want South Carolina in your bracket. Actually this year IMO that really doesnt matter that much. When LSU is clicking on all cylinders dont think there is a team that can beat us.

Well hate aside She is a pretty dam good basketball player, imo she’s the best female shooter I’ve ever seen.

Outside of USCe and Iowa, I don't think there's much difference between any of the next 10 or so teams. Based on the recent bracketology
1. USCe, Stanford, Iowa, NC State
2. UConn, Texas, UCLA, Colorado
3. USC, Ohio State, Kansas State, Indiana
4. Virginia Tech, Louisville, Gonzaga, LSU
