LSU is a 2 seed win or lose I believe. Even if they were on the hosting bubble, which they aren't...The committee would still award a host site to a program that doesn't often get this opportunity. LSU is a national seed in the majority of seasons, they are gonna travel out because they just haven't had to often at all. Granting LSU a host site after getting hot for a few days after the miserably average season we all watched would be a slap in a lot of teams faces who are far more deserving who under normal LSU circumstances would normally be the ones snubbed out.

No, every special little snowflake does not get to host their own one-team regional. Getting hot for 3-4 games does not undo a season's worth of work. I'm thrilled this team is playing its best ball of the season, but it needs to go win a Regional and then hope for some upsets so it can host a Super. That would be the only value of getting a 2 over a 3.

One week ago, we were projected to be one of the first teams left out. 64 spots determined by a body of work of months and there wasn’t a spot for us.

It'll be a damn shame for freaking Stetson to host a regional. There should be certain capacity and facilities (I.E. to enable expanded replay) requirements to host.

LSU has never been denied a national seed host when they win 40 games.
I say had we won another two SEC games; we wouldn’t even be having this discussion if we win tomorrow.

If NCAA football had a tournament with similar format, and Alabama got hot after being mediocre all year, they would get a host site. We deserve the same consideration in baseball they would get in football.

I see it like this. I think this team wants to go into someone's home stadium and own it. Who wants a red hot LS freakn U at their regional? NO ONE!
So let's go take over someone's home field and own that bitch and fight our way into the College World Series then take that over too.
What a story that would be and that would be one of the greatest LSU baseball seasons of all time. It can happen expecially if we can get Labas back 100% and these pitchers catch fire like they have for the SEC tourney. Let's do this Tigers! I'm all in.
