LSU leads the way, of course.
Texas, Oklahoma and -- gasp -- Missouri all won titles before joining the SEC.
None of the "A" teams represented--Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, A&M.

I remember Georgia won theirs in 1990 and nada since.

SEC baseball outside of LSU is a brand new thing. There are only two MLB hall of famers from the SEC. (Frank Thomas and Todd Helton)

Only 1 for Florida is surprising.

South Carolina has been to the championship game half dozen times.
'75, '77, '02,'10, '11, '12

I remember we swept Georgia near the end of the regular SEC season before they won it all... Further illustrating that the regular season and the post-season are two different animals.

We need to pad this stat

And that "1" makes me want to vomit.

I always forget UF only has one for some reason

Florida has been awesome in baseball for the past 20 years at least and only one title to show for it. Guess that’s better than their arch rival FSU lol

They missed their shot because they’re not returning anytime soon

I remember playing Bama in Omaha in the 90s
Of our 7, 0 are before 1990. So we are pretty new too then

That is correct.

USC has the most titles (12) but none this millennium. Last one in 1998. They haven't even been in the finals since then.

1st college baseball game, I ever watched was Alabama in the College World Series. This kid from Texas pitched a complete game to beat them in the finals.
Doubt I watched it live, ESPN back then replayed their stuff all the time. Probably saw parts of that game half dozen times, it was either that or Hamiton Tiger-Cats vs Toronto Argonauts

It would be zero if Walker doesn't get hurt.

A lot of this has to do with the draft used to have between 50 and 100 rounds depending on the year. High School kids got drafted and never made it to college. You still see that some with very highly rated players, but it's nothing like it used to be.
