I would think ESPN/ABC would stand to lose some TV revenue if we get kicked out. SEC might get sued by them as well as LSU.

Since when does Lane Kiffin = LSU?

It’s surprising to me that the conference would throw a long history with LSU into the trash based off of this one scenario with one coach in one anomalous year.

I don’t believe you fully understand what’s happening here.

They are claiming loss of institutional control.

It will be interesting to see who and how many schools vote against LSU on Thursday.

Ole Miss will be the first. The others will be the upper tier athletic schools who see the elimination of LSU as helping their own programs flourish.

LSU has never been liked in the SEC. They have always said Nationally we have the worst fanbase and we are a low IQ and low income type fanbase and have always looked for reasons to negatively push things against LSU. This situation fits their narrative against Kiffin and LSU.

Doesn't matter that we actually haven't done anything. The other member institutions have believed the false narrative and called on Sankey to expel us. First time they get the opportunity to vote us out they will. Don't get it twisted.

I don't think the SEC will actually kick us out, but at this point why not see what the B1G would do.

The SEC presidents work for the Governors. I have a hard time believing Landry couldn’t shut this all down with a few phone calls to his friends in the other governors mansions.

Yes I understand. You are insane. Do you know how long it would take to vote LSU out? There would be countersuits and this would be tied up for years. Not only because of what’s going on here but also tv rights deals. Who knows this could all be a ploy by the ncaa to finally govern everyone fairly.

They have already proved their irrational takes and willingness. I honestly think they are doing it because LSU is too good now; they don’t want to take a forever backseat to the LSU Tigers, it hurts them too much

Possibly, but aim old enough to remember SMU and The Boz and Miami.

Maybe It all stems from our association with General William Tecumseh Sherman…..revenge is a dish best served cold

So what’s the reason for them wanting to kick us out this week?

Last dying effort from a bully who has been hit in the nose. Sankey is done. Reminds me of Iran and Baghdad Bob.

What does the SEC/ESPN contract read and could it be a breech with kicking LSU out.
