You bought 8 season tickets. Is it not optional for you to show up? I didn't realize you had to actually go to the games or else lose your tickets?

Also, why wouldn't you be able to keep half? What if they were separate purchases or one half purchased by you, and the other by your SO? I'm not seeing the distinction?

Buyers don't care. You should tell your idiot friends to get the shot.

Has anyone considered it is a HIPAA violation to even ask if you have been vaccinated or taken the test?

It’s not. It’s a hipaa violation for your doctor to tell them if you have without your permission though.

I think you're missing the point. It's not whether or not you show up. It's whether or not you have to pay for the tickets. All of your tickets are associated with one account. So as far as LSU is concerned, it's all or nothing. They will not let you only pay for a portion.

I also was pissed at the way LSU handled this, but I'm going to end up making money on it. I've decided to end my annual donation which is greater than my ticket costs.

Honestly, I was considering ending the donation anyway.

Sell them get whatever you can. It’s not that hard. Stubhub, SeatGeek, Gametime. Plenty of options.

Are you interested in buying them for what I have to pay for them? I doubt you or many others are. There will likely be lots of people like me and a smaller pool of people willing and able to go. Supply and demand dictate that I will be losing money.

If they’re good tickets you’ll get way more for the big games.

I’m still not seeing why you can’t keep some of them if they are contiguous.

You can most certainly sell off the ones you don't use, but don't even entertain the idea of giving them up. Pay the money up front to keep everything and sell the whole season or individually, but its insane to not keep ticket rights now. As ridiculous as the numbers are on paper, the demand is still higher. You will regret way more not keeping those tickets than you will carrying that cost for a few months.

If you are in a good location...never ever give up your tickets. I lost mine after being in the family for 50+ years
down low on the 50 West...never to return.

Some of you have no experience trying to sell "extra" tickets and it shows.

A. No one is making a fortune reselling their season tickets. Do you realize the TAF fees are more than the tickets? I imagine you're the same people on here ripping on ticket sellers for charging more than face to recoup some of their fees for high profile games.
B. Selling each week is not easy, esp with shitty teams and even some SEC contenders. Most people buying do so closer to the game, now that decision needs to be wed/thurs to get test results in time for Sat game. Add in the ambiguity of Covid once again.
C. People are people and flake out.

Add to this the restrictions they've now created and it's a hard pass. No one wants to deal with that hassle.

I'm in agreement. But LSU says you have to keep all or nothing.

Find someone else in the same situation that you can trust, one can give up all their tickets and get half from the other who is keeping their tickets. Has to be someone you can trust to keep the deal going moving forward.

You used to be able to transfer tickets to a family member. Not sure if they let you do that any longer.
