Season ticket holders CAN’T keep 1/2 of their tickets per LSU ticket office

Our family has 8 football season tickets which we have worked hard to get (and improve location of) over the years through donations. We also have a parking pass. Given the VERY last minute change in LSU’s policy regarding vaccinations and PCR tests, you would think they would allow each ticket holder to decide how many people need tickets in your party since everyone’s health status is different. I have been told by the ticket office that we must all be vaccinated or take a PCR test to enter the stadium or we must all forfeit our tickets via a refund. I am in the half of the party able to comply with the requirements, so now I am faced with the choice of losing my season tickets, paying a tradition fund for 8 tickets I’m not allowed to use this year, or coughing up an extra $3600 for 4 extra tickets I don’t need (and will likely have a hard time recouping the cost of if I were to try to sell). I will also lose my parking pass I’ve worked incredibly hard to secure if I cannot personally pay for everyone’s tickets myself.
If this information had been provided to me when I was making the choice to purchase season tickets, I could simply have let 4 of them go and kept my 4 tickets and the parking pass. Now I’m left holding the bag because of LSU’s indecision and further inflexibility. This seems extraordinarily unfair to longtime season ticket holders who are the lifeblood of this program.
Is anyone else in this situation who has been given different information? I’m truly hoping there is some other option here because I’m heartbroken that my tigers are letting me down like this!

Get the tickets and sell them. What’s the big deal

It’s all about public health lol.

So, someone's "health status" prevents them from getting a PCR test? Kinda confused.

Seems like you have a lot of options and just want to complain about something.

You know the rules, we need to see pics of you to make a fair assessment of this situation.

I don’t see what the problem is. If you want to use all 8 tickets, download a vaccination card for the people that haven’t been vaccinated and fill it out. Nobody is checking these cards for accuracy.

That is not consistent with the rest of your post. It seems that you were told that you must pay for all your tickets or forfeit all your tickets. You do not have to be vaccinated or take a PCR test to obtain your tickets.

Keep your tickets for sure if you definitely know 4 are a go, sell the other 4 as a complete package to someone, every year it will change but hang on to your tickets, decide next year what to do with all 8, eventually THIS government will figure out a way to stab the whole country whether in the arm or the back.

Are you interested in buying them for what I have to pay for them? I doubt you or many others are. There will likely be lots of people like me and a smaller pool of people willing and able to go. Supply and demand dictate that I will be losing money.

Not that it’s any of your business, but some people can’t get vaccinated. Some people also have jobs that do not allow them to take off work during the operating hours where you get a PCR test in time for the game.

And? Will it be cheaper to sell them at a discount (maybe) or lose them and spend all the money necessary to regain them?

Sorry. 4 LSU tickets aren’t worth 3600. That’s craziness.

For those whose answer is to just keep the tickets and sell them, it is not that easy to get your money out of the tickets with the high Tradition Fund requirements and just break even.

What do you think 4 tickets are worth?
