Bordelon is the new fan base pet. Even if he plays poorly they’ll take up for him like they did Nuss. I hope he is as good as they are hyping him to be because previously he was over matched in all

Wrong? I stated facts. Refute them if you can, or assert that the conclusion is wrong even though the facts are correct. Is that your case? That even though FOUR earned starting positions in their rookie camps, SIX made NFL rosters, and FIVE have started in the NFL, and they won the trophy for best line, this was not a great line?

Nuss got savaged on here. The defense of Nuss was an excuse - injury - and probably turned out to be correct.
I think the salient point about Bordelon is that he is being judged on a different scale than most. No one expects Bordelon to be All SEC or a high draft choice. Success will be holding down a starting position and not being a liability.
We won’t win a championship with 22 Bo Bordelons and I think everyone knows that. So, like a lot of internet arguments, the disagreement is more about defining terms than the actual facts.

The problem with all of this is that the "sources" are just people with opinions. They are not coaches who watch the cut ups, evaluate the players, etc.
The bottom line is that I trust this group of coaches Kiffin, Weiss, Cregg and Wolford to play the best we have. If Bordelon and Weston are out there, then they are the best we have or they are teh guys who know their assignments and who work cohesively with the unit.
We won't know until that suit up and hit folks.
The paid sites are worthless in evaluating what we have. Year after year, someone reportedly is going to the be the next great (insert position here) and it doesn't play out.
Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear is good way to approach all of this.

Last year they had him stuck at Tackle and never seemed to even consider playing him at Guard, despite all the issues we had. But if you look back at the bowl game vs Baylor, he had a solid performance out of nowhere when we were short on OL.

Adams was actually solid last year when healthy. The PFF scores were average, but that was good enough to be 2nd to Moore in that OL group. There was a STEEP drop off after him.
The issue is that he should have been starting on the right opposite a better left tackle in the SEC.
Echols had flashes, especially run blocking, but he was terribly inconsistent. He has some talent but was never developed.
