The administration reads this board to gauge the pulse of the fan base/alumni. Most people who’s income is related to LSU athletics read this as well. This is real and it 100% happens

If the LSU admins read the The TigerRant to gauge fan pulse I sincerely hope they’re on some Prozac.

At least you are on a first name bases with him, that has to help.

I love the passion Vitello brings but I'm starting to wonder if he lacks class. I'm guessing he is going to turn into a jersey shore character once we kick their arse this weekend.

If he does read this Board (which I doubt), he should stop, and then do the opposite of what’s suggested here.

the opposite of what?
every possible option has already been thrown against the wall here. Including resurrecting Casey Stengel.

Nick Saban reads it too, to see what the Board is saying about him.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make with this statement.

Are you being purposefully obtuse?
quote:

You're talking about a man who is arguably the best college football coach vs talking about a sport that Saban doesn't coach.

The poster you replied to is right. Woodward may not read this board but word gets back to those that matter, regardless.

Does it make a difference, who knows? But there are people involved that read this board.

Bringing up Saban vs a coaching search for the baseball team is apples and oranges.

He is bringing up a high profile figure and pointing out the absurdity of expecting anything here to directly influence their thinking, in the event you are being serious.

Uneven: Story About Baseball Scholarships

I don’t know if this has been linked before, but this is a video about the inequity in scholarships for college baseball vs other sports. I understand most are aware of the scholarship limitations, but this video b puts perspective on the difficulty it causes

How does this relate to this thread…because Mississippi and Alabama are the only states in the SEC (not sure about Mizou) that doesn’t have a program like TOPS.

After watching this it lead me to consider the possibility that maybe, unlike popular belief, Bianco over achieves at OM. I think he is an outstanding coach and he brings with him something we’ve been really needing…Skip’s baseball philosophy

Just a thought for consideration.

I didn't say it did.

It's all good.

Took him 5 games to finally do it. A tired starter and injured first reliever and balls left belt high by everyone else helped them with that. I didn’t see Vitello steamroll anyone.

It’s a team game. I see how it goes, though. If it’s a coach you like then he gets credit for successes haha. Makes sense.

Did you not see this? Why is it everyone’s play to try and claim someone is being defensive or melting? I was pointing out that Vitello didn’t steamroll anyone. And, he didn’t.

I think he seems like a good coach but it seems like they aren’t going to go for him. I don’t know if it’s related to how some of his players acted after the first series or what.
