No. That's why he left when he did.

Got seats behind lsu bench for Thursday Tennessee game. So pumped Skenes will be the pitcher.

Ump robbed Skenes of another 3-4 Ks, but some questionable calls against LSU batters.

That’s something you could add to the resume if you will.
Jim know his stuff and doesn’t say it lightly or loosely.
I think he is the best coach in the league outside of how much I like Jay and what he has done so far.

Coaching has lots of variables that Skip didn’t have to deal with.

Skenes is going to start getting the NOLA affect. Opposing SEC coaches are just going to concede first game of series and pitch their best guy on Saturday

Working with Wes Johnson has elevated Skenes from very good to exceptional . Baw is the real deal.

He was pretty consistent though. Balls and strokes were basically the same for both teams which is all I really want as a fan.

He was consistently unconsistent if that what’s you mean. Guy was garbage for both teams all night long.

He’s the type that goes straight to AA or AAA

High prospects dobt really go to AAA anymore.

He will play most of 24 in AA and maybe be a late season call up.

I dont like A&M therefore i will probably end up not liking their coach but that was some real cool comments for him to say. Im sure Paul Skenes will appreciate that also.

doubted him pre season some what due to his numbers being just good at Air Force. I was wrong lmao

Getting away from the bat, catching, his military and academic obligations at Air Force and getting to work with Wes every day has elevated his game into the stratosphere. He wasn’t throwing like this at Air Force. Not even close

maybe he was just throwing it 99mph past everyone and that won’t play in the SEC.

I’m guessing you never faced a guy throwing in the upper 90’s. That velocity plays anywhere at anytime.

I faced Bartolo Colon early in his career and a few others that would touch 100 on guns that weren’t juiced like todays and I’m here to tell you, you basically have to guess pitch and location with that kind of gas. If you’ve never been in the box against that type of stuff you simply cannot fathom or understand the explosiveness.

I assume the downvote has to be because he didn’t say he was the Best he’d ever seen or this is a true negatiger…
