Say LSU is ranked 12-15 when the first CFP rankings come out

Then LSU proceeds to beat a top 11 Alabama and a top 11 Texas at home and then obviously vaults into the top 10 at that point but loses to a ranked tennesee in the road. Do we really think they will drop them from what will be anywhere from 5-8 to all the way outside the top 12 from losing to a ranked team on the road? 9-3 LSU gets in imo

Really depends on who else is 9-3 or better
If UGA, Ole Miss, KY, TN and LSU are all 9-3 or better and we are 0-3 vs the others on that list, we probably won’t get in.
Will really suck if not trying to pick up 1 yards vs KY is what keeps LSU out, but that is a very real possibility.

I still don't get the logic there. If we make it the game is over. If we don't we have to trust the defense. If we punt we have to.... trust the defense.
