Maybe Mulkey should consider letting one of those endless staff that crowd around her go, to free up some money for players.

You think they’re just going to dole out coaches salaries to the players? That’s not… that’s not how this works.

I think she got tired of not being one of the “big 3” and is gonna leverage her tourney stats into a transfer. She looked miserable 75% of the time she was on the court. Didnt get excited for her teammates like the others did. She may just need a better fit. The truth is she averages 7 ppg. You can replace that in the portal.

forget the points. shes a big body who can rebound, tip, bang up against other bigs. she did a great job against betts yesterday!! being elbowed in the face for 40 minutes, and pushed around like a rag doll! she did great against oldacre and jones at ut. thats what you get from her! you think wolfenbarger's gonna do that?

oddly enough, on other boards theyre saying that's why she's leaving. she wants to be cautious with her knee injuries and is afraid of re-injuring them by having to play against such aggressive competition. all the more reason to believe she may be going to another conference-- maybe tcu.

I don’t think she is trying to “cause drama.” She loves LSU and Mulkey. She’s probably just generally speaking. Although, she just recently became KG’s agent/manager as well.

I don't know this for sure but I think she may been freshman on the OSU team that beat us in second round 4-5 match up in Baton Rouge. I'm not sure but going off his post it's only thing that makes sense. Lol about call it a night to lazy to look it up

That’s a mom backing up her daughter/sport. Women outshining the men that only happened with Clark/Reese.
That’s already gone and now it’s back to Geno/Uconn and Staley/USCe etc which ESPN will hype Staley etc.

In general all sports since NIL has gotten worse as the team play is now a very much just a “ME play $$$” play every year for a different team play.
You can pay the kids but they now hold all the power even the ones who aren’t really that good get over paid. Hope they invest or safe some as when they hit the real world it will surprise a lot of them.

Samyah to TCU doesn't seem possible since they signed 3 bigs for 2025: 6'8", 6'7", and 6'4". And they have 2 tall Posts 6'3" and 6'2" seniors returning next year.

I’m more invested in the women’s tournament than the men’s. Outside of one player in the men’s tournament, I couldn’t tell you another player

Losing Smith makes it an absolute must to sign a quality post player. If they struck out in the portal for a true big , at least she can still play the position , though a bit undersized .

Won’t be good to go into next year with ADR and Jersey .

I'm really shocked by this move. She was finally starting to play like she was when the torn ACL happened last season. She was primed for a breakout season in 2025-26. This HAS to be about money. Otherwise it doesn't make much sense.

Well she should have played like she did in the NC State game all season.

no it doesnt. i can be about her wanting to be coached in a different way. or feeling underappreciated. or not wanting to sit the bench/share minutes with whom ever is coming in. or (as i read somewhere), not wanting to play out of position, becoming the team's go-to rebounder, and getting banged up every night like aneesah did and risk re-injuring her knees.

because of all the places... we all know lsu has the money!!
