Sam off to a bad start with 2 bogeys. Rolled in long putt for birdie. Terrible iron play so far. Meanwhile Lee playing darts with 3 birdies in a row.
Sam 3 back through 4.

What happened to the broadcast?

Now the golf channel is starting the coverage over? Is there nowhere to watch this live?

I think we're in a rain delay. I'm close to downtown and it's been raining pretty hard. McKinney probably has it worse.

No. CBS will replay this round at 2 pm.
It's streaming live on the cbs sports app.
Sam birdied 12, still 3 back.

There's have to be some LSU baws in the area to help Sam with some timely piss balloons at the leader, right?

Burns 1 Under on the day through 12. Lee is playing stupid right now, will take him dropping a couple for anyone to catch him I think. Burns tied for second at 21 under, Lee in first place at 24 under through 12.

Last hole is an eagle opportunity so he needs to catch a few strokes in between to have a shot.

Play resumes at 415 CST on 16th green. Sam down 3 strokes.
Live on CBS.
Edit: Now down 2 strokes with 2 to play.

That’ll probably do it for him. He can make a lot of money with a birdie on 18 though

Yeah I’m cool with seeing another player get his first PGA tour win. Lee seems like a good guy. Another good showing by Sam. Next week will be interesting.

Enjoyed that interview. Happy for Lee. Hearing him attempt English without the translator was cool. Great sport moment.
Burns top 5 in fedex standings now.

That last birdie on 18 made Burns $390K. Instead of finishing in a 5-way tie for 2nd place, he finished 2nd alone and made $882.9K.

I can remember back in the 70s when Nicklaus and those guys won a tournament they could earn a cool $40,000.
I think second place could get you about $20,000.

They discussed it was a pretty big points difference being solo second for FedEx cup standings and he’s now all the way up to 5th. Would be something if he pulled it off.

Then Tiger brought more eyeballs to the screen, TV revenue exploded, and brought million dollar winner's share.
