Saints or Tigers?
Posted by jlovel7

If you had to pick one team to win a championship, who would you pick?
Im from DC and almost everyone is far bigger fans of their pro teams (although even then I'd argue they don't even touch the feverishess of big time college football) than their respective college teams.
ETA: my answer is 100% tigers

LSU. My interest in the Saints has dwindled to a snails pace due to the last 3 years and I'm a huge Saints fan. Not just with the Saints but the whole NFL. Goodell and the rule changes has sucked the life out the NFL.

I've been fortunate enough to see both in my lifetime. I guess I would like to see LSU win another one before I go, the NFL realty doesn't matter as much.

Dallas fan? Frick you bud.
I've seen two LSU championships and a Saints superbowl victory. Love them both, but I'd rather see another LSU championship.

LSU. Not a fan of the pro game so the fortune of the Saints doesn't really concern me.

Alumnus of LSU, so there is no choice in the matter.
Where stately oaks and broad magnolias
shade inspiring halls,
There stands our dear Old Alma Mater
who to us recalls
Fond memories that waken in our hearts
a tender glow,
And make us happy for the love
that we have learned to know.
All praise to thee our Alma Mater,
molder of mankind,
May greater glory, love unending
be forever thine.
Our worth in life will be thy worth
we pray to keep it true,
And may thy spirit live in us,
FOREVER L-S-U.
Geaux Tigers!

I've seen 3 LSU Football National Championships and a Saint SP victory--still want to see LSU win more. As another reader has said, pro football doesn't have my undivided attention, but LSU football most often does.

LSU and it isn't even remotely close.
I am a season ticket holder for both.
