Did yall not read the practice reports that Kelly was raving about sage Ryan and major burns

Sage Ryan made plays all spring long according to the reports and Kelly and Burns is comfortable in his new “Star” position role

Good grief enough with the attacks on these players, these kids

I can’t wait til yall have to eat crow

Coaches lie

Sage and Burns were a big part of the worst secondary in LSU history

They’ve earned their doubters

No one cares about practice, we all saw live reps last week where sage looked as bad as last season

So the report where Sage Ryan got like 2 interceptions including a pic six was just “made up”

Players can’t get better according to the rant…..EVER! Annoying as frick

Maybe they have better coaching and scheme now.

Sage Ryan’s only good play ever got called back. I would love for that to change but I don’t see it.

Burns puts forth effort, but rejoices after being burnt downfield.

Sage seems to be allergic to contact.

If these can be remedied then I'm all-in. If not, good riddance to them...

Scarborough said in his post practice vid that day that those picks were a result of him knowing that certain play was coming after seeing it all spring

How many picks has he caught in his lsu career?

I think most people have just watched for the last couple of years and have seen theroduct on the field. Most blown coverages or tackles involve one of the two.

I would say Kirby Smart provides pretty good coaching and runs a fairly decent scheme. After his freshman year at Georgia Kirby told Burns he needed to look to go somewhere else if he wanted a chance to get to play.

No offense but BK raves about a lot of things that don't end up true. Orgeron did the same thing. I hope they turn out good I really do but eyes don't lie and they looked every bit as bad as they did last year in spring game.

They haven’t played well throughout their whole careers. Being critical of their performances isn’t attacking them.

They are not “kids”. They are grown men that now receive pay for their performance.

Hopefully the change in defensive staff will click with their thought process and they’ll perform better without making a lot of mental mistakes as they have in the past.

I hope this is the case.

But Burns gets roasted by fans because not only does he get beat and miss tackles all the time, he celebrates tackles after guys pick up first downs. People would overlook some deficiencies in coverage if he wouldn't celebrate when he allows the other team to do something good

I hope it all works out but forgive me for being a little nervous because Saban told his QB to throw at Burns. I’m not kidding.

Yes, I understand that players can improve year to year and hope that is the case

Kelly thought the D was fine preseason last year. He also said we were gonna "beat the heck out of Florida State" and we saw what happened

Its hard to get caught up in the whole crow eating thing.
If you watched Burns and Ryan play, you would know they have NOT played well and, in fact, got picked on.
Even those who acknowledge this hope that a light comes on for one or both which causes them to play without being a liability. This would be great for everybody.
If you think a coach's comment in the Spring practices is a legitimate basis for optimism, fine. I don't think it means much. I put more stock in what i have actually seen on the field to date.

Can’t make Ryan taller and faster and can’t make Burns faster.
