I live in Birmingham. Heart of Bama country. All they care about is football. Side note I also support Southern Mississippi along with LSU. When Alabama loses in baseball to my teams in baseball there is no mention of it in the Alabama press. Talk to a Bama fan about baseball they have no clue what you are talking about.

Alabama fans are a special breed of entitled. Lsu fans have become a bit like that but are nowhere near that stratosphere. Bama fans now expect the tire every year and anything less is failure. A rebuilding year is not an option, and should only come as a loss in the title game.
It is honesty the price of his tremendous success and will likely never be repeated.
As much as LSU fans can be nuts, we don’t expect to win a title every year but be in the hunt the majority of the time. That is why expectations are more reasonable. Problem for Saban though is anywhere he goes, they will expect to win titles quickly and at LSU he’d be expected to win multiple before leaving.

What that was is a public motivational speech to his team in order to prepare them for the rest of the season - the toughest part of their season. I hate Satan as much as the next guy, but the dude is a football genius. That publicly told his team, 'Screw the outside noise - I've got your back and you have each other's back. Now, go kick arse for yourself and your teammates'. I hope it doesn't work. Go Georgia (Ouch! I didn't like having to say that but my hate for the Gumps is that strong)
