someone tweeted to him:

quote:

It sounds like LSU is in the market for a safeties coach. U interested? I think you would be a great addition to there Defensive staff.

His answer:

I would, dream job!! I’m around all the time, but you know they’ve never even mentioned it to me. Sure they’ll find someone that’s a friend or worked with someone on the staff before! @Jthornhil kind of the way it works!! Working with @LSUCoachRaymond would be a honor!

Interim O was all about involving former players. Haven’t heard much stir about that this year..

He still involves old players a lot. Hiring them is a different animal.

Waiting for the O supporters to show up and tell us Ryan Clark needs to just support LSU like...

Wasn’t Clark a big supporter of o getting hired? Now he’s taking subtle jabs?

Ryan Clark needs to start coaching if he wants to coach. He should take an analyst position with LSU or another P5 school. That's generally the route to go for players with no coaching experience.

After a year or two as an analyst learning the college coaching game, he would likely be in high demand as a coach.

He comes off as an entitled punk in that tweet, though. That won't help his cause.

When it comes to the defensive side, I would imagine Aranda is the alpha and omega. If he wants a guy he'll get him and I'm ok with that.

Looks like the shine of O has worn off for him.

I honestly don’t think that was a jab. That is how it works for position coaches. Coordinators want people they can trust.

Exactly. Being a great player doesn't mean you'll be a great or even a good coach.

Here comes the buffoons saying Clark doesn’t know enough to coach safeties.

Just hit me over head and hopefully I wake up when it’s all over.

Former players spoke to the team (Duke Riley) and were on the sidelines at multiple games (OBJ, etc). Seems they were made welcome...
