I can't remember which one it was but I heard one of LSU'S finest tell a bama lineman excuse me as he got out of the way of the pass rush in the 2nd quarter Saturday night.

count up the folks who say that Ryan doesn't know what he's talking about bc he's never coached football before

RC knows more football than most here, but most here aren't paid to give outrageous takes either.

Anyone watching the game could see who had the best players when we were on O.

It was closer when we were on D, but again at the los they dominated here too.

Do we have that much worse of an offensive line than the schools that scored on Bama? All of them have out recruited us? Damn, we have a recruiting problem..

Our offensive line is not very good dude. To say one is better than another is hard to do, but ours is not good.

Ed said he was looking at the pass rush early Saturday night. The offensive line shite the bed. Steve shite the bed. Everyone shares a little bit of the blame.

The posters who spew this type of talk immediately show off their lack of football IQ. They have no clue as to why aspects of the spread such as the pistol formation, zone read, RPOs, or play calling being given by posters from the sidelines came about. They also don't understand the advantages it gives to offenses while putting immense stress on defenders to think fast & remain disciplined.

we had issues last year at WR, OL, and QB

he did well scheming around it

now you actually see it because you see how worse E is.

Without an offensive line that can block and give your QB time to throw, NO scheme will save us against Bama

That is where you are wrong. A good offensive coordinator schemes his offense in a manner that hides its deficiencies, see Dan Mullen with Fitzgerald last year and this year with Franks. Steve had 2 full weeks and a staff full of analysts to come up with a game plan, and for his 2nd time as an OC at LSU, he managed to lay a goose egg. Even with glaring weaknesses, good coordinators adjust and you can see improvement as the season progresses. We have statistically gotten worse each week. You can put all the blame on the O line if you want, but you will just be disappointed next season if you are looking for offensive improvement outside of replacing our OC.

Posters who point out posts as serious that are obviously tongue in cheek show their lack of basic reading comprehension skills which makes anyone reading their posts highly doubt the veracity of their comments.

2 things have been consistent over the last ten years.
#1Different players have joined the team/left the team.
#2 our offense sucks.

It’s scheme.

People who are hammering against scheme and calling ryan Clark an idiot, don't understand what scheme means or does for a team.

Most 3/4 year Olineman are night and day better than 1-2 year guys. We return everyone but Bruiser and Hines will be better. Also Dare is no joke. Keep n mind mett was very pedestrian his first run through the Sec. joe n year 2 should be a lot better. Also Jefferson Chase and Marshall will all have another camp season to get better.

We have no scheme.

We need an OC that sleeps, eats and breaths the scheme he runs. Then we need Coach Faux to actually let them run it.

We had someone like that in Canada, but dumb arse shrimp boat captain had personal issues.

LSU will continue to be 9 wins per season and fighting for second/third in the west until Orgeron is gone and we have a head coach who will actually let his OC implement their scheme.

I've given up thinking Coach Faux will do the right thing. He's going to be content winning 9 games this year.

Yet that moron had LSU ranked 50th in total offense, 415 yds per game. Thank goodness we upgraded.

Canada is what we needed. An OC devoted to his scheme.

Problem is, like Les Miles, Coach Faux stuck his fingers in the damn pie and fricked it all up.

We are stuck with Ensminger from now until Coach Faux is gone, because he doesn't have the stones to demote or fire him.

He will pump everyone up about 9-3 being a successful season. Year after year enough people will buy it so that he stays as head coach. And every year people will think we have a shot at winning the west and making the playoff, until we are right back here again a few days after getting shellacked by a superior coaching staff.

LSU is 9-3 university until Coach Faux is gone.

Enjoy.

2017 WR> 2018
2017 TB> 2018
2017 TE> 2018
2017 OL> 2028
QB equal

2017 O finished 53rd in O
84 in passing
Better than 2018

No one said we upgraded, just saying Canada is not one to cultivate a good passing game.
He was a run first coach for most of his career.

Has this team in the top ten with a top ten recruiting class and likely to play in a new year's day bowl yet you're calling him names. How pathetic can you be?

Except we just might go 10-2
No one knows, but I like our chances.

I know it ruins your narrative, but it's there for the taking.

You run everything from the gun and roll out at times. Use sprint /edge rising plays and other screens. You open lanes to screen to slow the rush.
