I’m ok with just playing for SEC championship and not playing playoffs this year. SEC has the best matchups

zero chance of football happening this fall. Sorry, but it’s best to acknowledge reality.

Can't believe they haven't figured it out yet. Situation is either going to get better or stay the same. It's not getting worse.

12 game SEC schedule would make me a happy camper! Praying we don’t get screwed out of playing Tenner. That’s one of my favorite East teams and I think they’re gonna be decent this year.

You are dreaming. Remember the Golden Rule... the ones with the gold make the rules. The media will cuck for tOSU all season even if they only play 8 games.

Unless an Big 12/SEC/ACC team loses two games I would think you have to give a 1 loss team that played a 12 game schedule the edge. It’s going to be weird how they compare the resumes
There is virtually no chance two SEC teams finish with one or fewer losses playing a 12-game conference schedule.

Ohio State can go 5-1 in a reduced season and the talking heads will still hype them up over a 12-0 SEC West team. I’ve accepted that SEC just has to punch the Big 10 in the mouth every year until they sit down in the back.

Not if it’s Ohio state. The pac12 has to have a team look like LSU last season just to get a 4 seed. It’s probably gonna be the ou, the sec East and sec west winner then one from pac/b10

I’d be surprised if the CFP was held

Clemson would most likely have to play Notre Dame twice in the regular season if the Irish play in acc.

I could see them giving Clemson a fit

If true, would be huge!

Yes, it would be if true.

But the SEC will be playing with fire if they allow fans in the stands.

If they go this route, they also need to be held accountable for the deaths.

IMO, there is little chance that all three teams, UTSA, Rice, and Nicholls, will be able to field teams in 2020. The SEC could permit a 12-team schedule, but LSU is most likely not going to have 12 teams to play.

I'm questioning if the likes of UTSA, Rice and Nicholls [or their brethren] can assure LSU or other SEC teams that they can set up the necessary infrastructure to assure being healthy opponents.

Its difficult to appreciate whether they have the financial backup to accomplish this. If they don't, that would create a reason for the potential exclusivity of non-conference games with the other two [Big 12 / ACC] Power Five conferences that have yet to close the door on such an option.

I did hear rumor that Alabama is looking to replace the lost USC opener with BYU. That doesn't necessarily jive with a three Power-Five non-conference exclusivity, however.

There isn’t going to be playoff.

If the Big ten and PAC 12 don’t play the NCAA will not have a playoff and there will be no officially recognized champion for this season.

Besides when all said and done the SEC won’t play either.
