Utah’s stadium and views are pretty impressive. LSU fans would enjoy it.

Utah loves their Utes

Only issue will be the drinking laws.

DO they have any other silly rules like no pitcher or beer or have to have X number of people to buy a pitcher?

I wish we could’ve played @BYU.
That’s a beautiful stadium.

Well not the stadium itself but the backdrop

If we're going to play a P5 team I'd rather play a school like Purdue, Minnesota, Michigan State, Cal, or UCLA than Utah.

The one recent thing LSU has been missing is a home and home with a big ten team. The Wisconsin series doesn't count.

At restaurants that serve alcohol you have to order food to order drinks (a lot of places are cool and allow you to just order like a side of fries for the whole group and order drinks) but it’s the rule, some places/people are cooler than others. Restaurants can’t serve any alcohol before noon on weekdays and 10 am on weekends.

All draft beer is 3.5 or less percent, no matter if it’s an ipa or a miller lite

There are bars that sell regular proof alcohol and bottled beer at regular alcohol levels and you don’t have to buy food, no doubles for cocktails tho. Most places won’t let you order two drinks either, you have to finish your first before getting the next. Salt Lake City is much better than a place like Logan or Provo so it shouldn’t be god awful.

If you want a bottle of alcohol (whiskey/vodka etc.) or wine you have to go to state run liquor stores, no sales on Sunday.

I probs missed one but it’s safe to say the cultures of Utah and Louisiana are much different lol

Hopefully Woodward wouldn’t schedule a game @Utah. We could do so much better.

Their stadium hosted the Olympics and is in one of the best places to visit in the country. Utah is a P5 team in the top tier of their conference with plenty of name recognition.

What’s the issue exactly?

LSU has a H/H with UCLA beginning two seasons from now.

Are you saying that you would rather go to West Lafayette, IN, E. Lansing, or Minneapolis over Salt Lake City?

Purdue, Cal, and Minnesota are too lower tier to schedule a future home and home. For every decent season they have had this century, they have had numerous 4-8 seasons.

Michigan State would be good, but they are currently in quite a slide as a program.

Utah as a program is head and shoulders above those schools. Plus far better location

I hope that happens. SLC is a great trip. The city itself is no longer majority LDS and the booze laws have loosened up in SLC proper.

Hopefully, the away game is at a neutral site like Raiders stadium in Las Vegas.

East Lansing would have a better college atmosphere. Dinkytown where Minnesota is located has a great atmosphere and yes Minneapolis is more fun than SLC. I mean alcohol laws in Utah are stupid.
