I have a friend with Utah connections who tells me that a home and home between Utah and LSU football is in the works. He says it’s not a great source, but the info is solid. Utah has some announcement tomorrow, but not sure that’s it. Take it for what its worth.

Hopefully Woodward wouldn’t schedule a game @Utah. We could do so much better.

I don’t even think our fans would give a shite if Utah came here. It’s not a sexy matchup. I’m going to say this is BS

Rice Eccles stadium is pretty fricking sweet dude, that is a hard place to win in. I hope this happens

Yeah I know, I don't get it either. But his info has always been good (he’s a former lineman at Utah in the late 90’s)

As someone who went to both Utah and LSU, this news gives me major wood. I can’t wait for my Utah fam to come down to experience an LSU home game.

That would be a nice road trip.

How do you know this info is solid if it's not a great source?

Just repeating, my brother. I’m only telling you what I was told.

It’d be nice to have a true OOC home and home with Utah. They’ve been trending upward for a while and Utah is an awesome state to visit.

Playing them in the new Las Vegas stadium would be better.

Yeah, they are undergoing major stadium renovations this year. Plus, if they can have the (2002) Olympics there, they can host LSU there.

My brothers and cousins are Utah season ticket holders. They make a point to go to all major road games. They were in NO when Utah beat Bama.

Reminds me of playing Wisc in Lambeau. Not worth the risk imo.

If you play in someone else’s house it needs to have the reward of a bigger win than what Utah can deliver. There aren’t that many quality Polynesians to recruit there for that to tip the scale.

I really hope that this is true. My wife has degrees from both LSU and U of U. The elevation at Rice Eccles is going to be brutal for our team, but it would be a truly awesome road trip.

It’s not going to carry the weight of a name like Florida State, but I actually don’t hate the idea. Utah has been nationally relevant since Urban was there. No reason to see why they shouldn’t be able to keep pace in a weak PAC12 for the foreseeable future
