Poor Tulane (for being a perpetual stepping stone), but poor BK and LSU too...

It would seem disappointing, but then I would remember the Bama and aTm games this year when we couldn't come close to stopping the running QBs.

From DC to LSU to HC at Tulane? Not buying it
Tulane has been fringe top 25 for the last several years. It's not a terrible job.

When Billy Embody says "I'm told" I wonder what that means.
Click bait bull shite?

Yea, Tulane is a top G5 job. Just hate the move would have to be in state (if true).

He can stay another year at LSU, and jump to a better paying HC position. Tulane wont be paying him $2.5M.

Kelly's DC tend to get held coaching jobs with the quickness. Both Freeman and Lea after 1 year as DC, and now maybe Baker.

He’s making more at LSU as a DC. I call bullshite. Either way we can just get another great mind and will spend a boat load on another elite DC. But that sucks for the players

Lets just say its true. Where do we go from here?? Does Kelly do Kelly and promote Bo, Corey or Diaco? Or do we go get a young fresh mind who's ready to step up?
Promote Corey Raymond and Hire Chevis Jackson from Miami as the new DB Coach?

Surely he is making more as LSU DC than he will as HC at Tulane, right?

Genuine question, what does him being from DFW have to do with Tulane hiring Baker?
He’s a SMU and Ole Miss “insider” on ON3… I guess he is reporting on coaching changes that can affect his teams

Course those were P5 jobs, Baker would be settling for G5 at Tulane.

Go get the Tennessee DC Tim Banks. That’s just my dream hire though

I was an original member of 247 and left when Billy joined. Biggest retard douche combo I’ve been around. At least Shea was cool to drink and smoke cigarettes with.

It would be an opportunity for his first HC job at what has been a solid program over the last few years and, most importantly, is Baker's alma mater.
If if was Arkansas St offering he would probably turn them down. Tulane, he likely takes it

Wherever it's smoke, it's probably fire.

Is he the type to run with a bogus rumor or does this have legs?
Billy is as good as it comes with this kind of thing, it definitely has legs, just has to get across the finish line I guess

It's not always about the money.
Head coaching experience could be a good thing, right?
Saban went to Miami to be head coach of NFL.
Was that about the money or to face a career challenge that he had never done before? I vote the latter.
