And the person they are talking to to replace him is going to be “shock and awe” in the coaching world. Now it may fall through because shite happens, but early talks are goooooooooood.
Please tell me it's not another slow playing "ball control" guy. Please. I've suffered for so long now...please not another Matt Canada or Cam Cameron.
Please be a REAL modern offense.

That would be admitting to a pretty significant failure on coach O’s part not once, but twice. I’m not sure he can do that and get away with it.
If only your hero would've tried to correct some of his OC decisions he probably wouldn't have been fired

You can word it it anyway you want, but it’s still going to be our 3rd OC in 3 yrs. I don’t see that as a positive for our football program, but each to our own.
It's not an outright positive having 3 OC's in 3 years, but it's a lesser negative than retaining an OC as bad as we have this year. No team wants to have 3 OC's in as many years, but we have to look at where we're at right now.

Steve Sarkisian? Ugh.

I think the results will be what matters. Calling it a bad look now maybe right or could be wrong. Depends on the hire and the offense they put on the field. I don't think we will truly be able to judge this move until we have more info.

Briles
Kiffin
Freeze
In that order of preference for me. Keep Steve on staff.

Briles or Kliff. I don’t think kiffin would take OC position
I think Kliff will prob get offered an OC position in NFL though. Just my gut feeling.

I have a lot of respect for SE and commend him for stepping up and even though the results have not been what we hoped, it's not for a lack of effort on his part. If he does choose to step down he needs to be applauded for doing what's best for the program.

I like how Vanilla Ice drops this "Rumbling" then doesn't collaborate

The problem is it never matters who the OC is, they all seem to have the same old school style offense. Stop hiring these 90s style "pro style" offensive coordinators.

I'd take Freeze, he's beat Saban twice, something we haven't done in the past 7 tries. Also, he would run the ball more than the other 2, let's face it, you better be able to run well to be successful in the SEC.
Pretty sure Freeze's rush offense was only in the top-50 of FBS once. Ole Miss didn't really run the ball.
Briles on the other hand runs more than he throws. That's why Baylor was towards the top of FBS in rushing at their peak. I think Houston was top-20 this season.
