It wouldn’t be surprising considering he never wanted the job in the first place. I still believe Tenthtiger was absolutely right about the faked OC search and Ensminger being tricked into taking the job. He was led to believe they were turned down by everyone so Orgeron could make him feel like he was the only option. He could have told them then that he was only doing it for one season. He was pretty outspoken about not really wanting to an OC after his interim season.

I can’t see Briles getting a HC job at a high level.

Sound strategy. Keep changing OCs and you can keep saying you have to give the OC time to implement the offense.

last I heard steve was planning on seeing the end of the two year deal he signed and then step back.
