I wouldn't talk to Miles either after 1/9. He cost Randle a lot of money with the QB switch. He was on pace for a huge year before the move

he had 900 yards receiving last year. an extra 200 wasn't gonna get him more money.

I hear ya. but also proves how he'd actually flourish in the offense this year.. but again I don't fault him for leaving. It would have been a good decision either way for him.

He wouldn't have been any higher, IMO. His attitude fit his production. That's what put him where he was drafted. Not his production numbers.

Oh, but no. Rueben was fantastic in all aspects of the game.

The more and more that comes out about him tells me he has no heart for the game and is just doing it for the paycheck. left early for the paycheck and didn't like Miles.

His effort in the NCG, or lack thereof....
His "quits at times" reviews by NFL analysts
His recent tweets about the coaching by Miles....
Now his teammates are criticizing him.....

agree 100%

He's a selfish player. Just his makeup.

Possible huge games in the SECCG and BCS title game definitely could have gotten him a bump in the draft. We've seen it numerous times over the years where a big bowl game shot guys up the boards.

He gave up on 1/9 more than anyone. He was getting abused on the outside trying to block. His attitude was dog shite here and apparently he packed it and brought it with him to NY.

Production isn't the only factor taken into consideration. The NFL actually watches film of WRs when the ball isn't coming their way and that is where RR cost himself. His QB, or lack thereof, wasn't held against him.

The NFL realizes that not everyone could have Manning for a QB in college- otherwise nobody would be drafted from other schools and not lower FBS or FCS schools for that matter.

RR was a great player for LSU during his 3 years here. I hope everything works out for him in the pros.

Agreed!

Everyone who is at work and taking shots at RR, your effort sucks and need to take it more serious. I'm sure all the negative comments are coming from the fans that tailgate and don't go to the game or the ones that leave by half time. The dude was an all-sec wr for us and gave 3 good years to LSU, why not go pro if you can. He is 4 games into his rookie year, get off of your jump to conclusion mate and let him develop in an offense that is just slightly more difficult then LSU's.

Oh yeah, Miles made him loaf during the biggest game of his career. Makes sense.

Okay, huge games. Let's talk huge games. Post all the huge games Randle had in his career at LSU. I'm talking Justin Blackmon huge.

I'm getting tired of former LSU athletes being scolded by new their teammates. 1st Kevin Garnett makes Big Baby cry, and now this.

I swear, i'm gonna lose it if one of JJ's NFL teammates says anything negative about his QB play.

jj27, what you failed to mention is that rr did perform well at the combine and thats what killed his draft status. he was only mcshay and/or kiper top 5 wr pre combine. he had a poor outing and the georgia tech guy and others passed him up. had nothing to do with LSU or miles.

i wish rr the best of luck but he needs a wake up call from daddy.

Still early, but hopefully he treats this like a wake up call and listens to a guy who knows.

Exactly.

This isn't coming from Mario Manninghm (captain of the lazy talented squad). It's coming from a guy who HAD to bust his arse to make a name for himself.

If more players worked like Victor and wanted it like Victor, they'd be better for it.
