This is the 2nd bad thing ive heard about RR and his work ethic up in NYG in 4 days. The announcers at the game on Sunday were talking about him when he was returning punts. Said the giants thought very highly of him during the draft, but once he got there his work ethics have been questioned. Doesnt sound good for RR...

I love how quickly fans turn on former players. Most of it is sour grapes over Rueben leaving when LSU could've really used him. Anyway I don't personally know Rueben so I can't judge his heart. I wish him the best as I do any former tiger.

He just left. He wouldn't even return Miles' phone calls after 1/9 to talk about his decision. No press conference, no interview given.... nothing. In fact, all he's really said so far is negative shite towards LSU.

where did you get this info? he met with and talked to miles more than once after 1/9. i was even at one of the meetings. i can name several people who did not give a press conference for leaving school and he did do interviews.

not sure where you getting this info from.

Pro Bowler, Super Bowl Champ, has been at the highest high and the bottom of the depth chart. Good for Cruz, RR has done nothing in this league yet and needs to heed the advise of a team leader. Where there is smoke there is fire. Only time will tell. If he is out of the league or a career back up after his first contrat then we know the answer. Good player at LSU but I felt he mailed it in in the BCSNC game with no blocking and really no leadership qualities.

I wouldn't talk to Miles either after 1/9. He cost Randle a lot of money with the QB switch. He was on pace for a huge year before the move.

his numbers went down because we got up on ole miss 28-0 in the 1st quarter and stopped throwing, then played 3 straight top 10 teams, two top 5 defenses. he had 134 yards against arkansas and 76 against wku after the switch was made. shocking that playing uga and bama would not result in similar numbers, i know

I swear, i'm gonna lose it if one of JJ's NFL teammates says anything negative about his QB play.

Yeah ... pretty sure you don't have to worry about losing it.

It simply doesn't get any more legit than this.

I really hope he gets it together. If he doesn't want to listen to Cruz, then maybe he should listen to another fellow pass catcher Martellus Bennett. He can give Rueben plenty of info on how hard it is to shake a reputation for being lazy/immature.

New York is an awful long way from Bastrop, LA for RR to go. I'm not talking about distance here either. He's gotta miss home big time. I'd rather be stuck in Green Bay than NYC.

Randle got plenty of PT and opportunity at LSU despite any perceived lack of work ethic. Not an issue for the program.

This.
Also the NFL doesn't care about WR production in college. Especially when the scouts know LSU struggled at QB. If they see you on film getting open but yet not getting the ball , they know that's a qb issue. When they see you going half assed during your blocking , they see that too. If RR wouldn't ha a great combine and had good film , he would've been drafted higher, regardless of what his production was.
