That ain't happening. The team would have to be a different team than we've seen all year. I can't come up with a plausible way that might happen.

I'm predicting that it's not going to happen.
This team is like a heavyweight fighter that's been tagged continuously over 8 rounds and is ready to be put to sleep. Even if it fights back over the next couple of weeks, it's one bad weekend away from the season being over.
It's highly unlikely that this team makes the postseason.

We are going to need 15 SEC wins for me to even feel remotely comfortable. 14 wins has been left out before and I don’t know that I could blame the committee for leaving LSU it if we only get to 14 with how they have looked and with some of the loses.

I would be shocked if we finish at 14 SEC wins. I predict we finish at 12.

The projections have us finishing 8-7 in the remaining SEC games and 4-0 in midweek games.

It’ll be interesting for sure. I think 14 would look pretty solid with what we have left. 4 of our last 5 series are against top 17 teams. 3 being top 10. And two of those series away from home. We get to 15 and we are an absolute shoe in I feel like. It’d require us to beat maybe 3 top 10 teams in series to end the year.

Sweep SC, Win one at Moo State, Win 2 vs aTm at the box, Win 2 vs Florida at the box. Or win one at Georgia and 3 of 6 vs Moo State and aTm.
Any of those is seems possible to me.

Jay really needs to go all in on sweeping SC that seems like the most realistic option

Absurd to the think we go undefeated in weekday games

This team will be lucky to win 1/3 against A&M and 2/3 against USC.

Projections had us #1 in the country and winning the SEC. Nearly 40 games into the season this looks like a 9-21 type SEC team.

Some of y’all need to take emotions out of it and have at least just a little common sense. Those projections that had us #1 had zero data to go off of.

Those were rankings, not projections. Rankings are cool, but early rankings mostly rely on last season.

You really think this LSU team is pretty much guaranteed to sweep USCe?
Guaranteed, no. Likely, maybe. If they are gonna have any chance, that basically has to happen, or they need to play the better teams better than they have.

Brotha I wouldn’t bet anything on this LSU to even sweep my high school baseball team.
They would destroy a high school team

Seriously doubt this is happening after watching them play UGA.

Not directed towards you but everyone is forgetting the "could" get hot and win the SEC tournament. I believe Ole Miss did that one year win the won the CWS. They weren't going to make the NCAA tournament. Stranger things have happened.

No pitching depth to make any run like that. Much more likely were one and done.
