Should sweep USC
Didn't USC just sandblast Missouri on the road three games this weekend?
That's no longer Maineiri's team. They mean business and are playing much better baseball than before. Reminds me of basketball season when a bad SC team came in and blasted LSU 50-25 in the first half when everyone said that was a sure win.

Some of the games of importance today:
1pm c: Kent St vs Mercyhurst
2:30 c: Notre Dame vs Valparaiso
4pm c: UNO vs Troy
5pm c: Northeastern vs Boston College
5pm c: UCF vs Jacksonville
6pm c: Louisiana Tech vs Little Rock
6pm c: Creighton vs Nebraska
8pm c: Sacramento State vs San Francisco
Obviously the biggest impact would be us winning our game. And in general, as unpalatable as it is, rooting for SEC teams to win non conference games will only help our RPI. Even if those turds don't deserve our support.

Right now, we're in a position as fans to root for that. Also, for all our midweek opponents to win.
And don't be surprised if our RPI falls even with a win for some of the midweek games. We'll need to win some SEC games to really move up in the RPI.

The Box is a tough place to play for opponents. If my Ags took 2 from yall I would be elated.

I don’t think a 14 win team has ever been left out in the new format. Could be wrong on that though
Multiple 14-win teams have been left out.

It will be a shell of what the Box would be if we were playing better, very reminiscent of when you emptied and took over Tiger Stadium last season.

There are 35 at-large bids. An RPI in the 40s has a decent chance of getting you in. As a defending champ, they probably get in with that RPI alone because the committee has always had some leeway.
This is a relief to see. I was assuming the outlook was much worse. I'll take that all day long.
They've looked bad for sure, but for some reason all LSU teams play better as underdogs.
Who knows. Maybe they can get their heads on straight and make it interesting down the stretch.

Money talks. If LSU is a bubble team, they get in.

Exactly where Ole Miss was in 22 when they got hot late. Went to Miami as a 3 seed, last team in, and Bianco was about to get fired. Won it all.
Just get in. Go from there.
