But regardless, why do we keep making this an us or them thing? You need to look at all the bubble teams.

Exactly. LSU and Kentucky aren't just competing against each other. There's nothing saying the SEC will get 10 teams in but not 11.

While we keep debating LSUvKentucky, I think it's important to point out that we kind of expected a rebuilding year coming in.

Kentucky was a preseason top 8 team with a ton of future draft picks and all this hype, blah blah fricking blah.

And they shite the bed this season. And I don't think it could have happened to better person than Nick fricking Mingione. That guy is such a dickbag.

A) You're focused on the wrong part of my post. My post is about how we should celebrate Nick Mingione's failure to meet expectations.

B) Rebuilding is a relative term, and if you didn't think this would be a relative rebuilding year for LSU, you weren't paying attention.

My point is this once was a great program but isn’t anymore.

Yeah, but I don't care what your point is because I've read your post before and I think you're an idiot.

If you believe that, you clearly haven't paid close enough attention. Florida went 14-16 in-conference in 2013, with a 29-30 overall record.

Coming into this year we had

6 straight national seeds
a CWS runner up
3 trips to omaha in the last 5 years
3 SEC titles in the last 5 years

So, your point is that LSU isn't a great program? Cause, they most certainly are rebuilding.

Have you ever watched college baseball? LSU is AT THIS MOMENT a top 5 baseball program and has a strong case for THE top program in the country.

We just finished runners-up in Omaha last year and then lost half the starters, including the entire weekend rotation to the draft or injury. Was this season (which is still going btw) disappointing? Sure, but not completely unexpected.
