Wasn’t this what many had concerns about with Landry before the election?
Something along the lines of being a ULaLa alumni who was both jealous of LSU like many ULaLa and butt hurt about not getting into LSU law school.

It’s pretty clear to me what he was thinking and trying to say. And failed at delivery.
Still shouldn’t have said it or attempted to say it … unnecessary misstep.
Of course he knows what permanent vs interim means, he’s just basically saying - in an odd way - those terms in this case are silly to him and that’s not how he is looking at it… he’s looking at verge as his current AD, period.

Neutering Woodward but keeping him around through the hire then parting in the spring would've been what normally run operations would've done if they HAD to get rid of him. But no, we find ways to make it messier everyday.

Making Verge AD was a bad decision.
The explanation for it is nonsensical. It shows a lack of preparedness. It shows a lack of awareness. It shows a guy who is completely in over his head...on day 1.
