This is such a terrible way to look at things and shows tribalism and stupidity more than any other qualities.

This whole thing has been a shite show and we, as fans and supporters of LSU, should not be happy and accept what we've witnessed for the last week and a half or so. It deserves to be called out and ridiculed for the incompetence we've been seeing.

Why the hell would I stick up for them when this is an issue they've created all by themselves? An issue they created that shouldn't have even been an issue. They're being retards and shooting themselves in the foot and you think they deserve the benefit of the doubt or to be taken up for?

“Interim” usually means someone is temporarily holding the job while a search is underway. “Acting” means they’re fully in charge and can make decisions as if they hold the position permanently.

So at a university, an interim AD keeps things running, but an acting AD has full authority, even if the role isn’t permanent yet.

There is a distinction. The messaging could have been a lot better.

If you give this clown control of the athletic department you're going to find out what "weak af" is. We're just beginning this shite show.

I just listened to that interview on WWL.That is the first time I have heard Rousse speak and I was impressed. He sounds sharp and it sounds like he realizes the importance of athletics and football in particular. And academics too for whatever that is worth. (Just kidding)

He, like Bobby Hebert, was a South Lafourche Tarpon. He was a WR and his QB was Bub Orgeron whom I assume was Coach O's brother.

He spoke highly of Verge.

I am much more optimistic than I was last week.
