Landry might make an embarrassing public debacle, but landing both these guys is huge. The future is bright

Landing Dalton appears to be huge, I'm not sure what Rousse brings to the table.

I am on the fence about Rousse, but this is a good outcome for LSU. Rousse definitely has business acumen; my concern was the rest of it, from academics to research money, etc. Dalton has that in spades.

I agree baw

I like how they were high-fiving each other. Appears to be a promising start

Emmert handled athletics when he was there.

Agree. LSU, like most major universities, needs to evolve to avoid becoming stagnant and ultimately useless. Public/private partnerships are a big part of the future, and I think these hires are a good step in that direction.

Can someone photoshop Dalton from Roadhouse standing in front of LSU Northgate?

Dalton was a mediocre administrator at UA, and there’s few folks sad to see him go. Very interested to see how it goes.

Dalton is still making a significant step up.

If he can accomplish half of what he did at Bama with upgrades to the actual LSU campus, then he'd be doing a great job.

Yep, Bama also invests in Greek life and uses it to their advantage. It’s crazy to say but if lsu can mimic what Bama is doing, we’ll be on a great trajectory compared to right now
