They never lost in regulation...

They landed in ames Iowa 45 minutes before kickoff because the team had to go to stuff that morning

They almost pushed the game back to Saturday because of the crash...

Equally, it was on the road, they were undefeated at home

They looked poor vs K. State and A&M. It wasn't just one game.

It has in the SECCG. You believe it should hold true there as well?

Did I say that? Or even insinuate that?

I don't recall 2 teams from the same division playing in the SEC CG though.

Obviously. And if they are beaten, they would not have a similar resume to Alabama and would have no argument.

The premise of this argument is that they will beat Oklahoma.

With teams from the same division in it?

What does that matter? Same conference. You beat them once, you shouldn't have to play them for the conference championship, right??????

Are you making the argument that college football has an objective selection process as proved by the subjective ranking system?

No, You are just a drama queen. I simply said its the system you have, deal with it like the rest of us instead of bitching about it being "unfair."

no, it's not setup that way, it's setup to put the top 2 ranked teams together.

Which would be the two teams considered to be the best. If that is Bama, so be it. Deal with it.

The winner is the SEC champion, even if they lost the head to head. Its a great analogy, you just dislike it because it goes against your little theories.

LOL.

By your logic, you have Alabama playing LSU in the SEC Championship game this week. That is absurd.

Alabama vs. Georgia who would win? Therefore, they should have a shot to play for the SEC championship, right?

did you say (like 90% of the media) that alabama would mudstomp lsu before 5nov?

I don't recall anyone in the media credibly saying that Alabama would destroy LSU. Some said they thought Bama would win. And afterwards, some noted that while we won in OT, Bama, in their judgment, outplayed us. These are all fair assessments.

But to answer your question directly, no. I said before the game I thought we would beat them. Because I have confidencce in my football team. I'm not worried about who we play because I think we are a championship team that will not lose.

Totally agree. I would never have believd ISU would beat Okie Lite, for example. However, if they play that game again, I would take Okie Lite because I have seen enough football to know that Okie Lite is the better team.

I have also seen enough football to know that Alabama and LSU are WAY better than all other contenders.

Okie state could beat bama.

I've seen them play every game except the Iowa state one...which I listened to on satellite radio

I was up til 2:30 watching them beat Tulsa after the thunderstorm

They haven't even beat OU yet, which I highly doubt they will. do.

K state is good...and A&M was at college station, where they hadn't been beat yet

Bama looked like crap against penn state and msu...if either team had an offense the games would've been much closer, but the truth is arky is the only decent team they've played

Why should you have to play a team you have beaten in conference play to determine the conference champion?

And you make excuses for Ok. St. losing to Iowa St, and giving up a shite load of points to K. State and A&M

They also played us. And went to OT with us. To act like Bama may not be all that good is not honest.

#1. That's not what you said. I said the NFL has an objective system. You said so does college football...the ranking system. If that's not what you meant, then that is on you.

#2. There are plenty of holes in your logic. I've pointed many of them out. In my opinion, with the subjective nature of the BCS, voters should absolutely hang their hat when they can on head to head matchups (obviously, this can't always be done).

Now, you are going to have to deal with the fact that people actually disagree with you.

Without Ryan broyles, OU is hard pressed to beat okie state at home...

Their defense will have to be on fire to slow the cowgaggies

Human polls need to lighten up on OSU.

A: the field goal to win could have been called good. It was 10ft above the top of the upright and a couple inches from being completely inside.

B: they just had two coaches from the University die, 10 years after another University plane went down.

C: it was a Friday night game that they didn't show-up for. Everyone with a brain knows that they beat ISU 99 times out of 100.

Whereas Alabama has already had their shot against LSU. That counts for something. It's OSU or bust people, no one else is climbing past Bama.

so a voter has never ranked an undefeated team above a 1-loss team when they thought the 1-loss team would beat the undefeated team if they played the following week? Again, many folks thought Georgia was better than LSU at the end of the year in 07, why did they bump LSU after the SECCG?

It makes more sense that a team from the west and a team from the east have a rematch.

What you're talking about is something that will, in all likelihood, never happen.

I haven't had a problem with disagreement. I have a problem with people who say the second best team in the country shouldn't play because it's a rematch. Just making a case for the way things are.
