I have watched them several times this year. Their defense is consistently bad. It wasn't an anomaly.

No, your insane idea that voters should vote the second best team third simply because you think LSU can beat Ok. State more easily is absurd. People should vote the team second they believe is second best.

This selective quotation of Roger is the underlying belief of probably 95% of the people on this board arguing against a rematch. On one level, I'd admire it. You want the Tigers to win the title and so whatever improves the odds, you are for. I get it. But the reality is, most of the voters in the polls that matter aren't LSU fans hell bent on a title. They want to see the two best teams duke it out in New Orleans for the championship. And so the rematch is almost inevitable (*). As such, it is really unbecoming of the the LSU fanbase to act this scared of a team we already beat in their house and who we will beat more severely in our state.
(*) The only way OSU jumps Bama is if they demolish OU. Like 41-17 or something.

Your reading comprehension is a poor as your logic capabilities. That is nowhere near my point. Building a strawman is a sign of losing an argument.

So, if Oklahoma St. had beaten Iowa St, you still think Alabama should be playing in the BCSNCG?
Your logic is flawed.

clearly people do not vote that way though...quality wins, strength of schedule, etc., all play into it. Who "deserves" to be ranked where plays just as big a role as who's "better".

No matter how you factor in these things, the only way anyone would vote for OSU over Bama is simply because they do not want to see a rematch. I think for the most part, people do pay attention to who they believe is the better teams and will not drop Bama below OSU for any other reason than the rematch. Anyone watching those two teams this year would feel this way.
I don't know how you can get past OSU's defensive performance and poor play in several games, including the loss to ISU

IF OSU had beaten ISU, they would be my number two

Roger, you mentioned a little bit ago that you have a problem with people saying #1 and #2 shouldn't play. Maybe that wasn't the exact quote but it was along those lines, correct?

I agree with that (pointing at you).

Because, that very real hypothetical situation totally disproves your point. In that scenario, even you would disagree with your own point. In an argument, when you are disagreeing with yourself, you are probably losing.
The truth is that the current college system isn't as neat and tidy as you pretend it is. It is full of flaws, assumptions, and people like you who blindly accept the subjective rankings. You swallow it whole like a little sheep. I get that.
But, the thought that Alabama should be ranked #2 over Ok State is no more clear than vice versa.

I think it's a pretty silly argument to make that number three or four should play number one. Yes.
I prefer LSU to play OSU simply because it's an easier win. I think Bama is the better team and should probably be in the NCG. I have problems people jumping a team simply because of rematch issues.

That's strange given your opinion that people should vote #2 for the team that they think is #2. It was clear to you 5 minutes ago. Why is it unclear now?

slightly more than dodging the question for the fifth time...but I posted that before you added your second part. Respond to it...

You can't keep up with your own flawed blanket statements? You need me to quote it for you?
Slow down, and go read your own posts in the last 15 minutes and my responses. It's clear that you have contradicted yourself.

I answered the question chief, as I have many times in these threads. OSU lost to ISU, they are not better than Bama. If they were undefeated, I would think they were number two simply because they found a way to win every game.

You don't know WtF you are even talking about now.

I did. You are lost as hell.

I think your flip-flopping inconsistencies has him as confused as I am. And by the way I don't fear bama, but when the NC comes I don't want to see them anywhere near NOLA.
