It's crazy that anyone should think someone should be punished for "taking a chance" on someone who was not convicted of something.

Too many guys don't get a first chance to waste second chances on others.

This is the society we live in, 95% of people will go with a tweet. Isn't there a stat out there most people get their news from tweets and facebook these days?

He took advantage of that by posting a shock tweet. Again, "no charges ever filed" and "no legal cases pending" isn't much to add but he left it out the tweet, I wonder why.
He attached the fricking article to the tweet man......

If he didnt attach the article you would have a gripe

With the way the media is attacking these assault issues, every President, Chancellor, AD and head coach ought to be very concerned and going forward you better make sure everything is reported and if you have any doubt, dismiss the player immediately. That is the only fool proof way to avoid a major black eye on your institution that no one wants.

Sexual assault is a problem on every major campus and it's not just athletes. Think of the regular student body.

LSU fans would be roasting Saban if he signed two kids "only" accused of rape.

I agree with the premise that if either of these kids are charged with a sex crime while at LSU, Wade should get canned for it. I'm not ok with bringing sexual predators to LSU in order to win basketball games. I do not agree that simply another accusation should bring Wade down because people can be very spiteful.

It's a disturbing trend withe the mob/herd mentality that social media has created. Personally, I believe that:

a. People are innocent until proven guilty, no matter how many reactionary twitter and media assholes instantly call for people to be fired or for a young man's future to be derailed because of baseless accusations.

b. It is ridiculous to try to sensationalize this and tie Will Wade to a he said/she said that didn't even happen on his watch, regardless of the context of the article.

c. When these sexual assault cases do happen and it is proven that there was knowledge of it and it was covered up by an administration, THEN those involved should not only be fired but should face criminal charges

d. If a player is charged with a sex crime and the coach does not try to cover it up, if he addresses it, then why in the world should he be fired? No coach can watch every player 24/7 and it is silly to hold the coach responsible for the actions of his/her players off the field. The coach is responsible for how he/she reacts to these issues.

I'm not saying this guy isn't an idiot BUT....IF either of those guys does get accused of any of that type of trouble at LSU...it is going to be a real shite show for Wade and Alleva.

It is a calculated risk that I'd take in a heartbeat myself.

Yeah that guy can kiss the fattest part of my arse.

It means they know LSU is going to be pretty fricking good next year if they're trying to kill us with bad press.

If LSU was a shitty program no one would give a shite to write something like this.

For what. This is all public record and kid wasn't charged with a crime. If he is charged with a crime while at LSU then Wade bears the responsibility of bringing him in. That's why he makes millions of dollars.

If he is charged with a crime while at LSU AND if he found guilty of that crime, the kid should be dismissed. And that’s all. The kid has no criminal record.

The epidemic is young women putting themselves in compromising positions and then crying "rape" to protect their reputations.

As for the writer of this article, he's all over the place. He goes from full outraged SJW to admitting that accusations don't imply guilt, to saying that maybe the risk is worth taking, to using the phrase "fire will Wade" way too enthusiastically.
