Whether you love or hate the final decision to allow a player eligibility, if it ends up being allowed by the governing body(even if t is forced by the courts), why wouldn't a person lean into the team they root for? I'm with you on that one.

And I also hope someone within the NCAA office takes a comprehensive look at the eligibility rules, especially regarding legal ramifications, and figures out a way to avoid future lawsuits (I like the idea of both parties, players and the NCAA, agreeing to use binding arbitration if that is possible). Or maybe scuttle the NCAA and start over with something new, though I doubt that will happen.
