Maybe Miles decided it doesn't need to be practiced anymore.
It was such a great play that No other team but LSU dared run it.

It lost yardage every time it was run?

"river left" would have never worked without running that toss dive. that's why Bama bit so hard on it.

Thank God, that's the single worst play call ever.
you sure??? the option with mett at QB against Ole Miss last year was a pretty awful play call.

False

It was a stupid play.
That we scored off of multiple times.

I sure hope so considering we ran it eight billion times. We could run Mett on a QB sweep one hundred times next year and he will probably score a couple of times. It doesn't make the play effective.

Except for some other colleges and a few NFL teams.

Did they run the stretch play instead?

Yeah, it worked well more often than not, but felt like the only running play in the book sometimes.
No - I've looked at this issue pretty well.
It can work for a running back who really sees the field and holes well, but you're right about them running it too much. We've had times where we've been stuffed twice back-to-back running it.

I know I was exaggerating but I've never seen a team call it so often and I really don't think it worked any better than the usual handoff.

well the QB's all called their own plays so...maybe they hate it?

that would be nice. I'm hoping that in all the "new" terminology that Cam has established, he never installed that with the QBs. or he gave them a list of plays to call and this play was left off of it. if it is gone, I'm glad. it was the single most predictable play we had. I'm hoping Cam took it out back and shot it in the head.

it was a terrible play call

I was told it has been moved into the secret playbook.
