A tropical disturbance in the western Gulf of Mexico currently has a 60% chance of developing into a tropical system over the next 48 hours, with heavy rainfall expected across parts of Texas, Louisiana, and the Deep South.

Don’t be a dumbass

A low pressure area is located over the northern Gulf of America about 125 mils south of the coast of southeastern Louisiana.
Satellite imagery and recent satellite wind data indicate that this system has become better organized since yesterday. Additional development is possible as the low moves slowly west-northwestward, and a short-lived tropical depression or tropical storm could form before the system reaches the Upper Texas or southwestern Louisiana coasts Tuesday or Tuesday night

So...some much needed rain this week that will be long gone by kickoff time?

The very first Sankey indecision was that Florida game, he got played like a fiddle. The SEC had zero rules in place for posting games like the NFL does.

Hasn’t rained consistently in 3 months…. Time for possible showers at game time. lol.

Not trying to be. Hoping for a good day for gameday including the game itself and for tailgaters. Saw a forecast showing 55% chance of rain for Friday and Saturday. The luck of the draw will be a low pressure system will develop in the gulf between now and then and ruin the day game experience. I have friends from Summerville, SC that has some of their people going to be on campus. I would like for them to experience our beautiful campus with out walking in puddles of mud and water. This will be a once in a lifetime experience for most clemson fans and it would be nice if they could experience our gameday atmosphere at its fullest.

Forecast for Saturday in BR is sunny and hot with 24% rain chance. Think we’ll be ok.

"Shite Happens" like that sometimes. (Just ask Houston what happens when an apparent weak TS stalls over the area)
