Saying let them play and the class of 2022 was disenfranchised by NCAA. Calls out hypocrisy of Alabama and Bediako.
Expects a favorable ruling today and says it’s justified.
All from a guy that hasn’t always been the highest on LSU.

Bc this isn’t about LSU whatsoever. It’s about being fair to a specific group of kids based on different rules set forth by the ncaa

Finally, even the media pundits are finally realizing the truth behind this whole story and realizing how fricking ridiculous they have been treating Lane and LSU through all of this. It’s truly unbelievable.

This is way more clear than the Trinidad situation that no one questions. Trinidad got an injunction for himself to grant a redshirt year that he didn’t request for a cold that he may or may not have had.
In this instance, you have players that would have stayed but for a 5 for 5 ruling that came down late.

This entire situation should make you question the intelligence of everyone in media. Its clearly not an LSU or Lane issue but its just getting ridiculous because that is what they are wanting the public to believe. This is insane.

The guy who is paid by CBS who lost the SEC TV rights is against the SEC. Shocking.

Michigan cheated its way to a title and they didn't get the vitriol LSU is receiving.

There has been a definite change in tone the last 24 hours. Seems like the more people dig into this the more they realize it’s isn’t Kiffin=Bad.

The more they dug into it the more they found out several teams have been in contact with the players. LSU was just scapegoated because they were named first.

Don't be naive.
While it is not specifically an "LSU v. NCAA" dispute...because LSU is not a party to the dispute...it's not necessarily true to say it isn't about LSU whatsoever. It's not a coincidence the action was brought in East Baton Rouge Parish and involves some former Ole Miss and LSU players. While LSU is not a party to the dispute, nor is LSU funding the dispute, LSU is a potential beneficiary from the dispute and is 100% behind it being brought in EBR. Had no players who LSU may want to bring in been among the group seeking to enjoin enforcement of the rule, this matter would not have been brought in EBR. Same with Chambliss in Oxford and Sorsby in Lubbock.
Now, it IS completely disingenuous for the media to frame it as an "LSU vs. SEC" fight. Again, LSU is not a party. No one from LSU has ever said it will play the players even if the court rules against them. LSU actually hasn't done anything...which is why the media as framed this a fight with the SEC because the SEC and media, wrongly, assumed this would go the same way as the Sorsby deal and LSU/Kiffin would just bow down and apologize to the SEC in the face of what can only be described a coordinated collusion. LSU hasn't. All Kiffin has said is he will wait to see what the court rules and operate accordingly.

That's really the root of the whole thing. Lane, and LSU by extension, make an easy "villain" in the press. But this case is about the players who were forced to make detrimental decisions about their careers with incomplete information.
It's simple contract formation question that has blown up because of the hubris of the SEC.
