Back up the brinks truck. Bring him home.
Reminds me of Willie Taggert come up.
re: Landing Spots for BK

If Penn State makes a run at Manny, would Duke be a fit? They would be happy with 7-8 wins a year and it is still a P4 job.
Landing Spots for BK

Assuming he is genuine about wanting to coach again… where could you see him?
Would BK go to Duke?
Does anyone expect players from Ole Miss to opt out of the rest of the season?
Dabo to Arky...Hearing this is close to done

Hearing this is close to done and may be announced BEFORE the end of the season. Don’t shoot the messenger just relaying what I’m hearing from the state to the north.
re: Who are some names slightly off the radar that aren't being talked about?

If we’re talking off the radar, Kyle Whittingham.

Bone bruise. And it hurts like hell to put pressure on.
re: One thing I hadn’t considered: BK filling a lower tier SEC vacancy

What is more likely is that he goes to a bottom feeder in the ACC/Big 12. I don't think he will stoop to G5 but I don't see the SEC or B10 touching him unless they are just out of options. I do think Arky should consider him or Franklin as a bridge.
I think both would have Arky at 7-8 wins consistently pretty quickly. I don't think Bobby could do the same.
Both appear to be affordable for Arky as well.

If I’m Arky

I’m taking either Franklin or Kelly as soon as possible.
I think Beamer leaves for VT too.

Google “LSU Biggest Donors”

Interesting…
AI Overview
+9
LSU's biggest donors are a mix of prominent individuals and organizations, with Our Lady of the Lake and LCMC Health making the largest single gift in the school's history, while figures like Todd Graves, Richard Lipsey, and former head coach Brian Kelly are also notable contributors. The Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF) facilitates a wide range of private funding for the university's athletics programs.

re: Whit has an ankle bone bruise

I tore two ligaments (grade 3) in my ankle and had a bone bruise back in March. The bone bruise hurt like hell and I couldn’t jog for a few months due to the pain. Granted I’m around 15 years older than Whit. I’d be very surprised if he doesn’t miss a couple games.
