Put Arik at chases position.

Get the other TE at the tight end and we out match anyone.

Don't like his decision but always will be a great Tiger to me. Good luck Ja'Marr hope you have a great career. Thank you for playing at LSU.

Pussy. Sorry but there is no other way to say it. Gets #7 honor and then quits 3 weeks before the season.

Nope. He had one great season with the benefit of a great quarterback.

I’d rate his teammate Justin Jefferson over him on an all time list.

He had the opportunity to be the best but he chose other wise. His choice

Don't be Marcus Lattimore, I don't blame him, just has to stay healthy until the draft...multi millionare immediately at signing. 90% of you would do the same. I just hope this is not a reflection on Brennen capabilities. The other receivers (Gilbert inc.) we have will be just fine.

I would rather be dirt poor before I quit on my brothers.

In his case, LSU would pay for a multi million dollar insurance policy.

It’s going to be an asterisk season anyways.

10 games, no Big 10, will there even be playoffs?

It sucks bc I wanted to see him with Brennan, but it makes sense for him

I said previously that I wouldn't be mad at him for opting out considering he had nothing left to prove, but at that time I assumed he wouldn't wait this close to the season. I'm pissed because I got my hopes up on him, but I'm over it now too.

Chase will drop in the draft standings but will be fine. Business decision pushed by those who make money off of him.

I suppose his agent is 100% behind this. But not sure I blame him.

Football is dying.

Practically guaranteed downgrade at QB and OL, stiff competition from similarly talented WRs and a transcendent talent at TE that could easily become the focal point of our rebuilt passing attack...

Sounds like a business decision to me. Thanks for the memories, Mr. Chase.

but I can’t be mad at the young man.

I can. He could have opted out of the season in February if it’s to simply prepare for NEXT YEARS draft, not wait until 4 weeks before the season. What he did was selfish.
